I don’t believe it, they don’t take the 3 points! There is nothing to be gained by another try!

  • 242

Another penalty… go for the corner again!

  • 243

Final Score: South African Springboks 22 / 17 Argentinian Pumas

    Bring on the fat lady!
    Phewww…

  • 245

    Way to close for comfort.

  • 246

What a relief. A pathetic performance from the Boks and hats off to the Pumas for knowing exactly how to play to make it difficult for the Boks.

  • 247

    Squeeky bum win… eish!

  • 248

Wel i dont know how late i will relax enough to sleep. Fark this was so unnecessary, dankie HM, jou liefdes verhouding met Ruan is farktup man, kwaai

  • 249

Lots of work before the Wallabies game, because they will also try to push the Bokke’s buttons…

  • 250

  • 251

Drol van die match? Pienaar sou ek ek reken.

  • 252

So how much have the Boks improved over the last year? This weeks performance by the Puma’s have shown that perhaps not too much. FdP has to start next time, and it is simply imperative that he play every match for the Boks. SARU MUST sort that out.

  • 253

Wow, how far has our rugby fallen. We can no longer go to Argentina expecting to win!

  • 254

    Tjorts.

  • 255

Jeeez, Ruan Pienaar cost up the 1st Pumas try, ultimately… and there was just NO SPEED from him on attack… too easy to read where he would send the ball to.

Our forwards also did not front up like they should have.

What I’m hoping for is that this brings the Bokke back to mother earth, and inspire them to have that fire in the belly again.

  • 256

Buona notte a tutti! We live in hope as Bok supporters because reality is against us.

  • 257

Pumas played well… but they niggled the whole time… Bokke MUST simply learn to shrug the niggle off… and play THEIR own game

  • 258

How does a team go from sublime last week to iffy this week?

  • 259

The summary of today MUST be that Heyneke is angry at his players… otherwise there is something wrong!

  • 260

Cheers all, time for some inward contemplation – with the inside of my eyelids!

  • 261

In 2 weeks time I would not have Ruan Pienaar in the match day 22.

I would be tempted to start with Flip and Eben at locks… and I would be tempted to start with Jan Serfontin at 12, Jean de Villiers at 13.

Pumas supporters might even be happier than us, even after losing.
Nag

  • 263

Springboks still top the Log… scant consolation…. but at least it was a win

  • 264

Bokke must focus on their own game, they must let the other sides play to our pattern, not to their pattern.

Wallabies are clever enough to exploit that too.

  • 265

    Well done Boks.

We seriously have to up our game against Oz otherwise don’t see us winning there and definitely not against ABs.

We were poor tonight, at least we did pick up the win this time and not a draw.

Just have to wonder why Meyer never brought on Vermaak? We need to get Fourie du Preez for the rest of the tourney to have any chance. Can we just not go back and negotiate with his club? Ruan was just not up to it.

Anyhow we won and pleased with the win even if it was a poor performance by us.

  • 266

    Okay catch up tomorrow.

    Cheers everyone.

    265 @ Puma:
Yip, in 2 weeks time it’s a totally new game… and today is in the past.. same counts for the Aussies who I see is now moaning about the ref, Peyper.

Lots of work to do… and with Toomua at No 10 and the Aussie forwards vulnerable, the Bokke needs to focus on how to make it count… IN Australia!

  • 268

Ok, so except for the set pieces that was shithouse. HM had better have a back up plan for the All Blacksor we will be manshamed.

Franco van der Merwe was oral by.
