Een brein, 2 voële, 4 ballas!
Who’s MOTM?
Jannnie and Bismarck on tv now, nice interviews on their farm amongst the herd.
It’s as if the Blue Bulls conditioning is geared for only 50 minutes…
McWolkie is Man Of The Match
@ grootblousmile:
Ja wragtag!
Wies MOTM?
Hulle wys die Doep broers hier nou. Hulle praat maar kuk Engels vir manne van Deben.
Can’t blame Craplan for this loss… congrats Sharks!
@ grootblousmile:
Sowaar! Wolkie het n groot invloed gehad daai laaste helfte, goeie sub gewees.
Min dat dit gebeur, sub MOTM.
The Blue Bulls side has potential… but they need to be able to concentrate for 85 minutes, not 50.
Sharks top the Currie Cup Log, Bulls at the bottom with Griquas also at 6
Sharks certainly upped a gear when McWolkie came on.
Sharks have the strongest and most experienced squad – plenty of Boks and Superrugby experience – and really should walk the Currie Cup this year.
The best the rest can hope for is that the final will be at Kings Park.
It looks like I at least climbed 8 spots on Bru this weekend… scant consolation
220 @ grootblousmile:
For sure boet. McLeod should start, though I know that Cobus is young and needs more game time. However, even in SR when Cobus picked up a injury McLeod played better when he started for us in the last 6 games or so.
Ek hettie koei nou vasgemaak. Jy kan nou die Bullbring….
Quote from the Farmers’ Weekly’s rugby correspondent….
223 @ Puma:
As good as Charl McWolkie was today, as diabolical he can be too… too inconsistent.
But then again, so is Cobus Reinach.
Today Charl McLeod was absolutely switched on!
224 @ fender:
Hahaha
Well, it’s rebuilding time for my Bullies… as long as they get their act together in time for next year’s Super Rugby…
By now the Springboks must be in the air on their way to Australia…
Such a pity my Sharks came short against Kwas. If only Botes had intructed that last penalty to be kicked to the corner for a lineout. As our rolling maul in that game was working so well, we just may have scored there and would have got the 4 tries. Now we have to go to Kimberly in two weeks time and try and pick up a good win there, which is normally tough for us when we play them on their hard ground.
Anyhow so pleased we got the bonus point here as we needed it. Too many chasing hard behind us.
Lions so far look like a good team that will get better as this tourney goes, so too does Province they playing very well and the 2 points they picked up last night will do them good later on. Cheetahs as well playing some great rugby. This tourney is still up for grabs could go either way. We all still sitting close. Except the Bulls… 🙂 Sorry guys just have to be honest. Though they will get better as well. That number 8 from Kings that came on for them has to start some where. I know Ross is Bulls captain just think Engelbrecht was superb when he came on.
227 @ grootblousmile:
Damn man, they should have flown via Arg and been in Sydney on Monday morning. This unnecessary travel now will make them so tired.
I hope we can do well there. If we can beat Oz we will be so confident to beat the ABs. For now not so sure after watching us play Arg last week.
OK, cheers ouens.
@ grootblousmile:
Loads of talent and future Sprinboks in the Bulls’ side.
Most of these boytjies are Bonzai’s age!
230 @ fender:
Tjorts Kitaartjie!
@ fender:
Tjeers music man.
231 @ Pietman:
Ja, jongetjies… dink netnie hulle kap soveel soos BonzaiGBS nie… hehehe
229 @ Puma:
Arghhh, if’s and but’s is’nt going to help us… they must just see that they are up to it!
They should be professionals, and act like professionals!
@ grootblousmile:
Mooi man, appel val onder die boom!
I still think the Young Blue Bulls dominated the set pieces, untill Bandise Maku could not buy a straight or accurate throw at the lineout.
236 @ Pietman:
Hy moet my net nie oupa maak nie!
@ Puma:
From Sydney they still have to fly to Brisbane, domestic flight, ouch! Our ‘French boys’ swill not last for long, you mark my words.
@ grootblousmile:
Oupa is orrait, net kuk om langs n ouma te slaap… vra my.
