Gooooooooooo Tahs!
Better for Staat if the Reds win, then it means they travel to face the Bumblies rather than the Saders!
Go Tahs. That would put Cheetahs in 5th spot.
Reds players out on the pitch
Tahs running out too now
Game ON!
Early engage Reds, at the Scrum, Free Kick Tahs, quick tap
Surfer Dude kicks out, directly… lineout back from where he kicked
If the log stays the way it is at the end of the day with Bulls top and Chiefs 2nd then I wonder if Reds will want to stay on 6th or 5th? If they stay on 6th they just have to hop on a short flight to Canberra to play Brumbies, if they stay go to 5th they have to go over to NZ to play the Saders. So this makes a interesting game. Let us see how it end here. Cheetahs on 5th have to play Saders in the play off then. Better for them as they wont have the disaster travel the Sharks had last year if they end on 6th. That is if they go over and beat Brumbies travel back beat the Bulls and travel back to beat whoever in NZ. So if Cheetahs end of 5th the play Saders. If they win that they will play Chiefs in the semi. Then only have to travel back here or to Oz to play the final. That is if they win all their games from here on. So less travel for Cheetahs if they end on 5th.
SO COME ON THE WARATAHS!
Reds steal the lineout though
9 @ Puma:
Yeah, but it’s about having a realistic chance to win your immediate next game, and the Crusaders in “Finals Mode” is a difficult prospect, more difficult than the Brumbies in all due respect.
No sense wanting the easier route, when you don’t get to play any of those games anyway.
I want the Cheetahs to go as far as possible….
Reds penalty, right in front… shot at goal for Surfer Dude

No that would be a disaster for Cheetahs. As if they end on 6th they travel to Oz to play Brumbies, then if they beat the Brumbies travel straight back to SA to play the Bulls, if they beat the Bulls straight back on the plane to play whoever in Oz. Same madness travel the Sharks had last year. They will have no chance then. They need to end on 5th and face the Saders in NZ. They have a better chance that way than with all the travel that will take the toll eventually on them.
Reds 3 / 0 Waratahs

The travel will kill off the Cheetahs chances gbs. If they beat the Brumbies who I think they can, then have to travel back for a hell of a derby game at Loftus. They could win that one as well, then head straight back to NZ to play Chiefs then. That is the same travel the Sharks had to do last year. Madness it will kill them that travel. They need to end in 5th and just go and beat the Saders. They can if they play like last week.
Try Cam Crawford… Tahs!
Booooooom!
Waratahs 7 / 3 Reds
Try Rod Davies, Reds
@ Puma:
Well we have a difference of opinion BigCat. I wouldn’t wish any team I was supporting to face the Saders at home in a play off. They have never been beaten by a saffer team at home before, so what’s the use of thinking about the games that come after if you can’t progress beyond the first step?
No try…. luckily!
19 @ The_Young_Turk:
My thoughts exactly
Try Ben Lucas, Reds.
Reds 8 / 7 Waratahs
Bad decision by Walsh. Must be on the sauce again.
Tryyyyyyyyyyyy Berrick Barnes!
Intercept was by McKibbin but he did not have the legs to go all the way
Waratahs 12 / 8 Reds
OK, another set of clients in and out the office… business is brisk today… hehehe
@ grootblousmile:
Did they bring your another R25,600?
Reds hard on attack and advantage is played for offside by McKibbin… they come back for the penalty
27 @ The_Young_Turk:
Nah, unfortunately not… this is just bread and milk money… hehehe
Another Reds penalty, quick tap and go
