Joubert was heavily criticised by pundits on social networking site Twitter for the manner in which he handled the scrums in the Bulls’ semi-final loss to the Brumbies in Pretoria on Saturday. A last-gasp try gave the Brumbies a shock 26-23 win.
The Chiefs ensured a home final when they beat the Crusaders 20-19 earlier in the day.
The clash at Waikato Stadium kicks off at 09:35 (SA time) on Saturday.
