Chiefs openside flankers Sam Cane and Tanerau Latimer took turns in Tuesday’s training session and then missed the end of the session.
Chiefs Head coach Dave Rennie says that Cane picked up a knock in their last outing which was against the Blues.
“It’s not from a concussion point of view.” Rennie said.
“He’s just a little bit sore, and we’ll keep him out of contact,” explained the head coach.
Ben Afeaki, Ben Tameifuna, Hika Elliot and Brodie Retallick also left training early as they are managing their pre-existing injuries.
