Cricket BallIn what can only be described as a very dead rubber, SA faced a weakened Sri Lankan side in Columbo, where AB felt that losing 3-2 would be better than losing 4-1. Something I hadn’t thought of – well done, AB. Sri Lanka, with 3 Perera’s and as many changes, won the toss and chose to bat. Unfortunately AB’s side did go down 4-1. Good news is that AB did realise, at the interview, that they needed to improve

…..and so SA whimper to another loss. 179 all out

  • 35

Oh dear what have you been doing with the cricket? Seems its been a bad series for the Proteas.

Ashes test starts at Old Trafford today, maybe not the easiest decision on winning the toss, may be something in it for the bowlers very early on then it will be a hot toil, so probably bat first and play very cautiously in first hour. This could be one that ends in a draw wonder what the odds are… Worry

Hey JFK we on road back north again quite dreary here today

@ Bullscot: Big toss foe England to win, could shape the match significantly. Not sure what the weather holds in store for the 5 days, although today looks promising.

Would like to see Tremlit come in for the English, if they are going to make any changes, otherwise no changes. Looking forward to this match greatly!!!
