Wicket!
Sri lanka 92 / 2 after 20.1 overs
Sri Lanka 176 / 3 after 36 overs
Sri Lnka 234 / 3 after 43 overs
Sangakkara is klapping the Blomme silly!
Peterson, Duminy and Phangiso – hardly spinners that are going to instill the fear of god into the enemy, no matter how much the wicket is turning. Then you have McLaren with his military mediums, and Morris with 3 games and 4 wickets under his belt. Mr Morkel, you’ll have to get a tenfor, if wickets are going to be taken.
This must be the weakest bowling attack I have ever seen in Protea’s shirts. We deserve a real pasting if this is all we’ve got.
I just hope our batting is sublime!
Simple net practice for the Sri Lankans
Sangakkara gets his 150.
At last, SA get a wicket, but it’s not the one they want. Sanga’s still there
Sri Lanka 290 / 4 after 47.3 overs
At last……But waaaaaaay too late
Sri Lanka 320 / 5 in their 50 overs… a 6 off the last ball to add insult to injury
Fark, 1st SA wicket goes for 0 runs… 1st ball of the innings
SA 29 / 2 after 5.2 overs, Duminy gone, edged and caught behind
SA 109 / 6 after 22 overs
It’s looking pityful indeed!
I went to go check the tiling work in the bathroom we’re totally revamping…. phweeeew, luckily I did!
2 Walls tiled absolutely straight whilst they worked under supervision in the week, today’s wall not a single line or tile straight… made them pull off every single tile! Sorry, I don’t take to mediocrity, if it’s skeef then it’s skeef… if it’s straight I’ll accept it!
Fok, hoekom moet mens met mense sukkel?
Damn, SA 119 / 7 after 24.3 overs. McLaren gone!
@ grootblousmile:
119-7
A few things I have been saying for a while now re our cricket. CHOCKERS, yes sadly it is a fact.
1) AB is not a captain
2) Openers are weak
3) no 3 is too inconsistent
4) Mental prep of the team is poor overall
5) Spinners are not international class
6) Backup bowling in general is weak
7) Some senior players are prima donnas, too big for the game and only play when it suits them,
8) Selections need to be questioned.
Arrrrrg vokkit, ons is somer KAK lol
En dagse Burgermeester van Skeefteelsvallei.
De Villiers needs to learn to read the game situation more and curb his natural instinct to just play aggressive. It has been a problem he has for some time now and thus I question his keeping wicket and batting 4
SA 138 / 8 after 29 overs, Robin Petersen gone
Neewat, pak maar op… try maar weer ‘n ander dag.
19 @ Sharks_forever:
Hello Ty.
Don’t know why our Cricket upsets me so… we know they choke.
… another one gone, Morkel
SA 138 / 9, the overs left now inconsequential
Sangakkara alone has made more runs than all the Blomme together… way more!
All over rover… Phangiso stumped.
SA 140 all out, 31.5 overs was all it took
An embarrassing defeat, nothing more to say
@ grootblousmile:
Yup bro it leaves a bad taste in the mouth,
