@ Just For Kicks:
Have not seen the test rankings lately but we were well ahead with great series wins. Sadly we dont play enough tests in my opinion.
Very strange decision as England review Agar dismissal. Given out, but certainly does not look like it should have been. Oh well, Aus just sink further into their own stinking doodoo. Agar gone, caught Prior off Bresnan for 16. Aus 154/7. Req 429 to win
@ superBul: Agree, we have been top of the log, and thats great, my point is that truly great sides last a decade or more. England have the making of that. We simply don’t, unfortunately
The Open is warming up to a great finish
Another one bites the dust. Haddin goes, LBW Swann for 7. Aus 162/8 Req 421 to win. Eng req 2 wickets to win
@ Just For Kicks:

well i think we had a good few years. I just think England looks more in the limelight due to a more busy schedule. Playing the useless Aussies in 5 test series almost every year helps a lot to keep the focus on them.
What was the outcome in India for the 2 teams lately?
Root is human after all. He’s just dropped a catch!
Micleson looks like The MAN, what a last round, on the green at 18 putting for a birdie , already leading by 2, this looks great for him.

One wicket to go, great play England
Australia 192 /9
One more wicket needed… for England to demolish Aussie
PM Siddle b Anderson 18 (62b 1×4 0x6) SR: 29.03
Partnership: 30 runs, 14.1 overs, RR: 2.11 (Siddle 16, Pattinson 14)
Anderson takes out Siddle. England on the brink now. Siddle bowled Anderson 18. Aus 192/9. Req 391 to win. Eng req 1 wicket to win
England will definitely take tha extra 30 minutes if they don’t extract this last wicket before then
Will be a comprehensive victory by England… a victory to put Australia’s cricket at the moment, into stark perspective.
England appealing for everything now, but no appeals left. They’re desperate to finish this off tonight
@ Just For Kicks:
Carol must love this too, great win coming up, series almost won
@ grootblousmile: Yup, it’s a mess at the moment. How did the clan day go?
Phil Mickelson is the man taking Ernie,s crown , great final round
140 @ Just For Kicks:
Fine… gave the whole family good, sound advice… they took it to heart.
Good lunch too, my Handbriekie always brings out the finest… she likes catering (despite all the protests, hehehe).
OK, time for me to turn in… see what movie is on M-Net Channel 101 tonight, spend some quality time before a long week ahead.
Enjoy the England win… enjoy Mickleson’s Open win… and all get ready to be fully behind the Bulls this whole week!
Current partnership 39 runs, 9.4 overs, RR: 4.03 (Harris 13, Pattinson 20)

@ grootblousmile:Cheers
Swann to Pattinson, OUT, another big offbreak, beats Pattinson and hits the back pad before deflecting into the hands of Matt Prior, England all go up in unions and the umpire gives it!
JL Pattinson lbw b Swann 35 (91b 3×4 0x6) SR: 38.46
At last, in the final over, the last wicket falls. Pattinson LBW 33 Bowled Swann. That it. England win the test in 4 days,
Totally outplayed England won by 347 runs
Well, they did leave it to the last minute, didn’t they!!!!
An absolute thrashing for the wayward Aussie. Where they go from here is anyones guess. They have a big squad, but is there anyone out there who can do any better? I doubt it.
Good and comprehensive win by England. Well done.
