Massive scrum by the Sharks. Reset
….and another
Bit of tennis sees Blues work their way up to Sharks 10m line
Penalty given to Blues, quick tap, knock on, but Sharks not back 10, so another penalty awarded, Blues now go for posts. Just outside 22, and slightly left of posts. Should be a sitter for Baden Kerr
Are the Sharkies throwing this match away?
I see the Blitzbokke beat Japan 33/0 earlier at 7s World Cup, game against Scotland coming up in about an hour’s time if my time conversions are correct. In another mens Pool B game Scotland beat Russia 21/5.
…and slotted.
17/20 after 60 min
95 @ The_Young_Turk:Certainly the backs are conspiring to lose this one. Think they must have had a kitchen bust up with the forwards last night! – Refused to make supper is my guess – either that or forgot to change the sheets.
Blues almost through, knock and Sharks scrum
Sharks knock on this time. Scrum Blues
Having lost their 1st game to Ireland the South Africa women 7s beat China 19/7 and they face Austalia in just over half an hour.
both teams trying to lose this game
Loose play, but the Sharks come away with it. Lambie chips, but marked, Sharks lineout on the halfway. Sharks just going nowhere this half, some poor decisions being made by them
Easy penalty for Sharks for not holding body weight up. Lambie steps up
Aaaaaargh, he misses again. GIVE IT TO JAMES
Dammit, it’s hard to watch this standard of rugby after the Lions/Wallabies match.
STREAKER on the pitch, Hahaha
Deysel can, at last get a new shirt, now!
@ Just For Kicks:
Coaches just never seem to learn, they all follow the herd. The prevailing view is that you don’t break the kicker’s confidence by giving the kicking duties to another player… even if it means your Farking team farking loses FFS! I can’t stand the lack of a spine by these coaches.
106 @ The_Young_Turk: Not much better than a 2nd division CC match
Don’t know how the points for the 7s World Cup works as having played 3 and lost 3 the China Women have 3 points according to the table, this in spite of having a -66 points difference and having only scored 3 tries and conceded 13.
109 @ The_Young_Turk: That last kick was even offered to James, but still not. If a kicker is lacking in confidence, he won’t get it back like this, thats for sure, very poor handling of the player, I agree
@ Bullscot:
Maybe they get points for just having the courage to turn up 😉
111 @ Bullscot: …and you’re mean’t to be the clever one on R/T. If you can’t get it, what chance for the rest of us?
109 @ The_Young_Turk:
See comments earlier in the thread to JFK from me, I would normally agree with you but in this case it depends what the bigger picture is, obviously for the Sharks its about winning but if Lambie is to play a role in the Championship for the Boks then surely he needs to keep at it until he gets better, would it change the chances of other SA teams if the Blues win here instead?
This game is really going nowhere at the moment. We need a spark, and that doesn’t mean Deysel needs to strip again!
Peyper to win it for the shorks now
so predictable
113 @ The_Young_Turk:
Another penalty, and guess what, Lambie steps up, but Bissy says go for the corner – huge risk
114 @ Just For Kicks:
Hey I would say in return JFK that flattery works every time but that’s a comment I reserve for my better half
