Sharks force another penalty, this time from Blues scrum. 1 min to half time
Lambie given another chance.
…and this time it is good.
17/5 after 40 min
Banana’s
Blues being owned at the set piece.
Sharks generally looked good through that first half, very good scrummaging, good mauling, and overall, good general interplay in the backs. Just some silly knocks, and poor passes every now and then has kept their score from being a bit higher,
Blues not quite in it atm, being pushed around a bit, and far too many school boy errors. When they do get the ball, the potential is there, and they are taking it through the phases, but again, poor handling letting them down.
@ Just For Kicks:
Thanks for that summary just been out for a bit and looks like Sharks doing well
@ Bullscot: No problem, nice to get back into it, been a while – may have to ask GBS for a few more games – just realised how much I am missing it! How are the clouds?
Took a gamble and went for Sharks by 16
Looking possible so far, Bulls are going to have to make sure they bag the 5 points today
Don’t think they will get 4 try wins against the Sharks and especially away against the Stormers
Neither of those two games will be a given, especially with the injuries they picked up during the tests
Second half on
59 @ Just For Kicks:
Would only say yes if any of those guys will play for the Boks, 6 tough matches coming up so will be god to persist with Lambie so he is ready for then as suely he has role to play at some point in theChampionship and ifSharks dont make Super play offs he is running out of matgh practice time
Good start to second half, as Halai in for Blues second try in the corner from a good chip
Noakes misses a nother tough kick
17/10 after 43 min
Blues with a much better start after H/T
70 @ Bullscot: I’m just stirring, but the lad does seem to be suffering from a serious lack in confidence at the moment.
Blues looking much the stronger atm, Sharks have hardly touched the ball this half yet. Blues up to Sharks 5m
Ciao a tutti! Go Sharkies!
TRYYYYY, Ranger. Gap opened up like the parting of the waves – looks a bit like Moses too!!!
Dammit, Sharks going to pot just when I start watching.
Noakes gets one at last, scores level. How quickly things can change!
17/17 after 49 min
@ The_Young_Turk:Yup, they had a good 1st half. Looking a bit better now though
…..and then Daniel fluffs it, eish
Oh dear come on Sharks!
Bit of blood floating around in the tank
Another good scrum by the Sharks. Penalty Sharks
74 @ Just For Kicks:
Well if you think Lambie would benefit from a stint up here then maybe he should return to his roots for a bit, Edinburgh can do with a decent flyhalf, especially now that Laidlaw seems to be back for good at scrumhalf.
Bissy looking for a bit of game time
Lambie with another go, but again, misses
85 @ Bullscot: Would be great to see him up here – I would be at every home game, thats for sure!
Blues with a put in as Bissy comes on
Lovely passing from Blues sees them over halfway line, unfortunate knock on results in Sharks put in
