@ nortierd:
I think it’s really a sad reflection on America. Really a perfect illustration of an “imperial Presidency”. It goes together with the concepts of “American Empire” and “Global Dominance”. I don’t know why any country would want the American president to visit with all the crap, inconvenience and expense it entails.
119 @ nortierd:
You must mail them to me… I’ll put them up here if you want… right inside the thread comments!
119 @ nortierd: send a couple to GBS so he can post them up here, would like to see them
@ grootblousmile:
While they may have a big economy, they also have a big population with increasing income disparity, no national health care or education, and subsistence level of welfare to the poor.
@ The_Young_Turk:
It’s a show of force, for sure
the planning that goes in is something else
the guys I worked with are really cool
@ Just For Kicks:
Will do, need to reload some time on my I-pad first, the photos and mail is on there
I loaded a couple on my FB profile
@ nortierd:
No reflection on the people. They are normal nice people just doing their jobs like everywhere else… and the gadgets are really cool too!
@ grootblousmile: Did you find someone to cover the other matches whilst you are on your way Loftus toe?
@ The_Young_Turk:
very cool
Hooter has gone for halftime….
Saders get an easy penalty…
127 @ The_Young_Turk:You’re too kind!!!
128 @ Just For Kicks:
No…. was about to ask who could do it for us….
Could you do the Sharks one before the Bulls match and the Stormers one afterwards?
Crusaders 13 / 7 Highlanders

Wat drink ons?
Laat ek gou nog ‘n koffie aanmekaardonner….
Flok maar ek maak lekker koffie!
THe biggest difference between NZ and us is that they are not scared to pass the ball. The amazing thing is, that once they have the confidence to do it, more than not, the ball goes to hand. It would be great if we could just have the guts to try it, break through the ‘no confidence’ and then use it. With a true flowinfg game, spaces will always open up, as this game has shown. Our stop start style of ruck after ruck after ruck, just allows the opposition to regroup every time, and shuts down the opportunities.
Where as the NZ’s allow the gaps to open up, we try to force our way through, like an elephant through a kitchen door!
2nd Half ON!
@ grootblousmile: I can do the Sharks match, but i have a time delay here sometimes of up to a minute (on VipBOX), so posts will go through a bit late. Stormers match is more difficult – I am out tonight. I can do the 1st half at a push, but second is out, I am afraid.
If no one else turns up, I am happy to do them.
That was too easy!
Try Guildford?
TMO
What a bad mistake by Nonu!
No try
No try, dotted down by Slade… just
138 @ Just For Kicks:
OK, please do the Sharks match for us… a minute delay is negligible.
I’ll get BlommieBul or Stormpoppieboy to do the Stormers / Cheetahs match.
Thanks tjom!
I need the Crusaders to win by a much bigger margin
Good try Ellis
need some more of those
Try Andy Ellis, Saders
Even when the Crusaders make it hard for themselves, they make it look easy!!!! Work that one out!
Crusaders 20 / 7 Highlanders
144 @ nortierd: I think your wish may well be granted
@ Just For Kicks:
they still have the luxury of unleashing their bench later
Landers very close, Landers scrum on the 5
