Ok. I am going to work.
Good luck Boks.
Lemoenetyd
We are to upright at the rucks. Too slow at the tackle ball and to predictable off set piece.
Never good to hear of players getting injured hope Wilson is not too badly injured. At least there is quality backup in David Denton although he may be a bit rusty as think he last played in March.
Any player can have an off day – today is Adriaan’s. Maybe the Boks will come out differently in the second half, but one can’t ever see this happening to the ABs. Even a good 2nd half performance won’t wipe out this pathetic display.
Turky, I’m with you, this must be the Boks 3rd team, surely – no international team can play like this against an understandably weakened Scotland!
153 @ McLook:
We MUST earn the right to go wide, and the Bokke are just assuming they can go wide.
wel manne en maninne dit is glad nie wat ek verwag het nie , ek dog ons sou nou al 40 iets op gewees het
@ grootblousmile: Hoop daar is darem ‘n bietjie cane in daai lemoene. Vrek dit was vrot van die Bokke.
Scots fronted up for the match we didn’t. We thought it was going to be a walk in the park. We are not doing the basics with passion, commitment and the necessary team coherence.
Scotland win the first half. Jeez man, we being out played out thought by a Scotland B side. Come on Bokke in the 2nd half get your act together. Had this been the ABs were were playing there would have been 30 or 40 points against us already. WE have regressed since the eoyt it seems. Then let us see how we go in the 2nd half. Just knew we could not take the game against Italy serious, then again really thought this Scots side would have been put away by us by now. Bokke are playing useless out there. For now.
Come on Boks let us play like we know we can.
@ Chief Wiggum:
Think you got something there Chief. Strauss is concentrating more on Bissie on the bench than on the Scots.
GBS@157. Exactly.
Need a re-think here on how to approach the game in the 2nd half…
Spies, Kolisi and Marcell Coetzee not combining as an effective loose trio at all.
We’re missing Flo as fetcher.
Ruan Pienaar also clearly not gelling with the rest and does not know when to go wide and when to keep it tight.
Anoyone who is watching Gavin Hastings summarise right now, is looking at one happy man!!!!
@ smallies:
Brussouw, ek hoop jy lag in jou mou nou! As HM NOU nog nie besef hy moet jou kies nie, dan is hy blind.
155 @ The_Young_Turk:
Afraid you right. WE looking useless out there.
Now they have to come out and show us how they can play. We are better than this surely? Damn man this is embarrassing. WE playing a Scotland B side here.
166 @ Pietman:
Agree 100% Piet. Brussow has to be selected.
If we do win we really do need a fit Alberts and Bissie for next week.
@ superBul:
168 @ Puma:
So, what will Alberts bring to the party?
I want Piet van Zyl on soon and I want the Bokke loosies that are ON THE FIELD now to play more towards the ball!
Adiraan Strauss has been so solid the whole year, and we simply don’t know what Bissie’s form is like, guess we’ll see in the 2nd half
In first half “Scotland push again at the South Africans, but Bryan Habana puts the afterburners on and looks to charge through, however a terrific tackle from Al Strokosch ends the break a few metres in” and “There is absolutely no quarter being given out there as South Africa are trying everything to get a score before the break. Al Strokosch forces a knock-on as Scotland clear” – sounds as if Strokosch is having another big game.
@155. Correct you never see this happening to the ABs. This is piss poor. When you start your season you target the basics and make sure you get that right first. The no1 basic thing you target should be dominating the gainline. This first half was it for me regarding Heynecke Meyer. This guy is forking incompetent. The sooner they get rid off him the better. Sorry this is pathetic.
@ Pietman:
Shame, it must be tough for you hey 😉
One would expect Springboks to pull away in the end to a score that looks like a fairly comfortable one if you didn’t know the half time score.
2nd Half ON!
Good touchfinder by Willie le Roux
The only good news is that the Boks WILL win this match, but if HM really wants to win the hearts and minds of the supporters, he’s got a long way to go.
OK i phone HM and we will start playing now, hold on we are going to rock them
Springboks keep on spilling balls in contact!
