Good win for the Boks. Samoans really need to look inwards and sort out their discipline. They would have fared so much better if they did. Wouldn’t have won, but would have done better.
Jeez but these Samoans are a bunch of thugs… klomp lieplappers!
@ grootblousmile:
Kyk my eerste post oor coconuts.
So, who did not perform in the Springboks?
Ruan Pienaar
Patrick Lambie
Pierre Spies
274 @ Pietman:
Not a complete performance by the Boks but many more positives than negatives. Willie should be here to stay – he adds something extra that has been lacking. Flo is irreplaceable. Flip and Eben are the right pairing. Alberts was dominant. Question marks over scrumhalf and to a lesser extent flyhalf. JJ looks to make centre his own. Spies doesn’t deserve to be there.
A 33-point win.
I think a bit better than we all thought it would be.
@ ben-die-bul:We’ve just beaten a team lying 7th in the rankings, and struggled against teams lying 11th and 12th – I don’t think we should be talking the side up too much just yet, but good to see some youngsters doing so well. Also I thought that this was the most mature showing as a captain for JdV in all his matches so far, so that bodes well
Francois Louw deservedly gets Man Of The Match!
275 @ grootblousmile: Agree, unfortunately with Ruan leading the pack as the poorest performer. He is such a talented player, and up here, is brilliant, but somehow, just isn’t suited to our style of game.

286 @ Just For Kicks:
Did so!
A great day of rugby – haven’t had one of those for a while!
Come on, let’s chase this one past 300 quickly
The results suited me today, not so much on SuperBru, but all the sides that I wanted to win, did!
291 @ ben-die-bul:
Maybe just Duane Vermeulen… oh and of course Ruan Pienaar needs to go, to be replaced by Francois Hougaard and I hope soon Jano Vermaak also
How serious is Vermeulen injured? Katrakilis should have been given a chance at flyhalf. When will JPP be coming back?
Arno (volgende jaar)
Duanne
Hougaard/Jano
Goosen (volgende jaar?)
JPP
Maybe Hougie should be given another chance at scrumhalf, tho’ we’re getting a bit desperate now. Morne is adequate at flyhalf, nothing more while Bambi is not in good form.
Player stocks are very bare in some positions unfortunately.
Bok depth is not so great as we all like to think.
295 @ The_Young_Turk:
Yeah, but Morné Steyn, Habana, Juandré Kruger, Chiliboy, Jano and some others are leaving for overseas…
3 UIT 3 GEWEN, nou vir die 4nasies wat rof gaan wees.
Plaaslik, Go Bulle en Staat !
So, it’s back to Super Rugby for us lot….
