57 @ Puma:
meant = tournament
I see the Junior Bokkies have kept their starting 15 for the England clash tomorrow
@ grootblousmile:No thankfully not. More from the deep south of Bloem. Fichardtpark. But in those days it was called “Flick a knife Park”. Got a lot of stick from dad, an old boy himself.
60 @ grootblousmile:
Coffee for now… 😛
58 @ grootblousmile:
Yes of course it is better to have a few games against lesser teams for the RC. However, this could be something more exciting if they think about it for the future. Have a Tri-Nation tourney here, but two of the top countries up north to tour. Would be really exciting that. Imagine if we had France and Wales in this tourney? Would have been brilliant.
63 @ Chief Wiggum:
Oh, OK….
My Oupas, Dad and his brothers and my elder brother, Kruppelbroer, all went to Grey College… I went to school in Pretoria
64 @ Puma:
Personally I’m hoping for a GLOBAL SEASON in years to come… and if I could have it my way, some of the old Traditional longer Tours…. THAT WAS rugby to excite!
2 nd Half ON!
Early Scotland penalty, on about the Samoa 10m line
Laidlaw might not have the distance for this one…. he does!
Over
Samoa 14 / 12 Scotland
Flag out… against Sensus Johnson
Scotland penalty… no more
66 @ grootblousmile:
Think everyone is hoping for a Global Season. I too would love to see the longer tours come back. I am envious of the Aussies right now having the BIL tour there. Wish we had a good team touring here right now. Would have liked us to be be hosting France right now. I like to see a challenge when our Boks play not a total walk over. I know Italy will be tougher this time round but really do not expect us to lose at all. Now these two countries here had me thinking if two of the better rugby countries from up north were here this tourney would be a lot lot more interesting.
Scotland penalty, Samoans dive on the player… not going through the gate
Come on Scotland.
Samoa get a defensive scrum, on their own 5
Scotland scores… but they almost cocked that one up, a few times
Scotland 17 / 14 Samoa
Well done Bravehearts. Samoa tiring a bit.
Samoa penalty… to square things up
Scotland 17 / 17 Samoa
25 Minutes to go in the match… and all to work for
Samoa penalty, quick tap… and the chop knocks his own ball….
Nothing much happening in this game, actually a bit bloody frustrating
17 Minutes to go… and finally it happens…
Tuilagi scores for Samoa
Samoa 24 / 17 Scotland
I really thought Scotland would win this… by 10.
Seems the few players the Samoans were waiting for when they Played against the MTN Lions have made the difference….
Samoa penalty… and it could take them 10 up….
Samoa 27 / 17 Scotland
10 Minutes to go… the difference also 10
Scotland would have to score pretty soon if they were to have a chance here
