The Lions should moer this Country Bumpkin side silly!
I nearly forgot to make my pick for this game on Bru
Yip should be a rout for the Lions will they win by at least 50? Maybe…
I picked the Lions by 60 on Bru for this one… think I’m still too conservative
Looks like it should be good conditions for rugby, little breeze temps in the low teens and dry, although may be some dew around, depending on how the stadium/ground is positioned, as relative humidity is quite high, this could make handling tricky and perhaps scrumming too especially as you would expect the Lions scrum to be very dominant.

Sounds good!

By the way, did you get my mail about how to see which version of an Operating System is on a PC / Notebook?

Posted this on Blues – Frogs thread but see you’ve all skipped “over the Tasmin”.
League of nation indeed.
Speaking of guys like Nyanga who basically went from a former French speaking colony to play in France, not too long ago I sat and had a looong discussion with the President of Swaziland Rugby about Rugby development in Africa.
Now if there’s someone who knows a bit about the subject it’s Michael Collison.
He’s of the considered opinion that Rugby development in Africa will ALWAYS be hampered unless CAR is split into two geographical regions comprising the French speaking nations to the North, and the English speaking regions in the South.
My “gat se deksel” is that SARU don’t seem to give a sh1t about Rugby in Africa for the most part.
Anyway, enough of my soapbox.
Have a great day. I’m off to the deeeep South of Gauteng.
Catch up later.
Not able to watch this or hang around for much longer, will be particularly keen to hear how Stuart Hogg gets on in the unfamiliar flyhalf position, he should be the kicker as well until Halfpenny comes on off the bench. Hogg is in good company with O’Driscoll and Roberts next to him in the centres to guide him would have been even better for him if they could have started Phillips instead of Murray at scrumhalf. That Lions loose trio looks to be just about the best one for this tour, maybe touch and go between O’Brien and Lydiate for the number 6 jersey.
9 @ Bullscot:
Pity you will miss it!
8 @ Scrumdown:
Tjorts…. chune them grief! hehehe
Brian O’Driscoll and co coming out.
Not a bad stadium at all at Newcastle… the Aussie version of Newcastle, that is
Country Bumpkins also now out
Game ON!
8 @ Scrumdown:
Very interesting stuff Scrumdown, you would think that if enough interest was generated there could be really good players developed in the likes of Cameroon and Nigeria – lots of big guys there. I gather your man must think that this Anglo/French situation is perhaps cause of disharmony in CAR so this is why he thinks it would be better if it were split, where would the English speaking West African countries fit in – south English (for language) or north French (for geographical reasons)? Cheers, enjoy rest of the day.
Ok cheers for now hope this is a good game.
Lions with the early charge but the defences holding.. and a little knock by Murray
Free Kick Lions, early engage by the Bumpkins
Lions opt to scrum again
Lions walk with the scrum… advantage played
Advantage was over and we have a Bumpkin lineout
Scrumhalf kick charged down, 22 drop out
Try Alex Cuthbert, Lions
Lions 7 / 0 Country XV
Try Conor Murray, under the sticks
Lions 14 / 0 Country XV
Try Stuart Hogg… straight though
Lions 19 / 0 Country XV
Lions penalty, sealing the ball off
Overthrow at the lineout, Snowden of the Bumpkins grab the ball
Bumpkins close…. pick and go the whole time
