De Viliers saying they are aware of their inability to string phases. They are trying to rectify it without success. Problem is no line speed, not direct enough and not committing enough numbers to the tackle. When carrying the ball they need to do the opposite of what they are doing on defence (waiting and drifting laterally).
So, SA will be lucky to get 2 in the top 6

The heat is on AC, well at least on N24
To the Management of Stormers Rugby taking into account that AC said that he feels that this is the Stormers’ year, here is my entry for Allister’s excuse for why the team did not go all the way this year: “We lost 4 very close games, the Bulls, the Cheetahs, the Blues, the Waratahs – mmm make that 5 counting the Crusaders as well. If we had better luck or results in three of those games, we would have been up there in contention. I know we did not win a semi when we qualified for it, but this year we would have won it, if we qualified for it. I am still looking forward to coach Jantjies and a bursary at Maties will be appreciated – that is for Jantjies, not for me. ” Whilst the conversation should be quick: “AC, you had three chances, you had an open purse, you had open selection, you failed, you are the weakest link. Good bye”.
I blame our coach and his assistant. They have to go. They have been given enough time to prove themselves.
En nou gaan hulle seker Helium vat.
@ superBul:
Too much money, too much complacency, too little (coaching) talent.
Hope EP end above the Mountain Goats on the log, and the Lions play them in promotion relegation game.
Mind you, they’re still above the Tjarkies, who who knows?
