Blues knock… Brumbies kick directly out
Will a draw here suit the Saffa sides better?
Don’t think so… not for the Cheetahs or The Sharks anyway… but for the Bulls probably so….
5 Minutes to go….
Blues penalty advantage… no only a knock-on advantage… scrum Blues
With 3 minutes to go, Blues would have to score from within their own half… soon!
93 @ grootblousmile:
A draw would suit the Bulls. A win by Blues would suit the Bulls even more. A win by the Blues would suit all saffa sides. Well more likely Cheetahs and Bulls.
Lourens van der Merwe has been diabolical as ref in this game
97 @ Puma:
Brumbies have played a week extra (same as all Aussie sides)… not too worried bout a bonus-less win by them. The extra week will be dragged back in June, no problem.
So, after good consideration, will be good if the Blues lose here…
Nic White hacks it out, Brumbies win
Final Score: Brumbies 20 / 13 Blues
1 Log point for the Blues, 4 log points for the Brumbies.
Brumbies on 50 now, 2 behind the Chiefs
99 @ grootblousmile:
Brumbies have these teams left to play: Canes, Rebels and Force. They should beat all of them and could pick up a bonus point or two. They also have a bye left so a guaranteed 4 points. If Bulls slip up against a team now they will not get a semi. Or if Bulls win all their games form here they could end top of the log. AS no way to I see Chiefs beating Saders in Christchurch. If Bulls pick up some bonus points on the way they will for sure get a home semi and final. Bulls will never lose a home semi and final for that matter. Bulls have it all to go for. Just some tough derby games after June as Sharks and Stormers have some of the top players back.
Well done Jake’s Brumbies.
Still wonder how the hell we let Jake go. Crazy.
103 @ Puma:
The way the Rebels and Force have been playing lately, those 2 games will be rough for the Brumbies…. Brumbies have already lost against the Force once this season, if I remember correctly.
The Canes… difficult call… they always flatter to deceive
103 @ Puma:
I like the fact that the Bulls destiny is in their own hands… starting this evening against your rubble…. hehehe
104 @ Puma:
Balls on the wall, what was your Bru pick for the games in Durban and Cape Town… and for that matter the one in PE?
106 @ grootblousmile:
They might be the Mighty Sharks after tonight… Like this hey!
My Sharkies are coming out like this tonight >>>>>>>>>
107 @ grootblousmile:
Always pick my Sharks. Think I have them by 3 and Stormers by 4. Cheetahs by 7 think. Have all those teams for a win.
108 @ Puma:
Your Sharks might just manage their best game of the season tonight… but then again, they might not….
Best chance for the Bulls in Durban for years!
109
bulls, reds, cheetahs
109 @ Puma:
I think the Stormers are going down late afternoon against the Reds…
110 @ grootblousmile:
I know this is Bulls best chance at the Tank for years. Bulls will never get a chance like this again. Well then we might have huge injuries again next year who knows. Sharks are just way too depleted of their big players right now. Still anything can happen. Hope they win it. Then if they don’t good luck to Bulls hope they go all the way.
112 @ grootblousmile:
I don’t think that is a good Reds side at all. They are beatable and if Sharks woke up early against them in Brissie we may have beaten them even with a patched up team. I think Stormers will win this one. They don’t have pressure to make the play offs now. They not gonna get to the play offs. They playing for pride and the pressure is really off. Stormers will win. Just not sure by how much. Well that is the way I am thinking. Sharks could win and I hope we do, nothing like beating the Bulls at the Tank. For me it does not get bigger than that. Love a Sharks/Bulls game for me again that is the highlight of MY Super Rugby tourney to watch. Just wish we had a full team. Pity. Still should be a good game. Cheetahs will win tonight. Not gonna be easy they should win though.
pums @ 113
i think the bulls are good enough to win the title again. sad thing is that, if it do happen, we’ll have to ban bidibidi from the site. theres no way we’ll be able to live with him after another superrugby title!!
115 @ Ashley:
Ag, we’ll be bearable… after all we’ve done it 3 times before….
