Springbok Waylon Murray has been named at outside centre in his first start of the season, having missed the earlier rounds as a result of a knee injury he sustained last year.

After almost a year on the sidelines he played off the bench in the last two outings – against the Crusaders and Hurricanes.

Now back to full fitness the 2007 Bok, who played three Tests that year, will start at No 13, with Ronnie Cooke moving to the left wing.

Marcello Sampson returns from injury (bruised heel) to take his place on the bench.

Argentinean scrumhalf Nicolas Vergallo starts at No 9, with Shaun Venter (who suffered a bruised ankle against Hurricanes) being ‘rested’ on the bench.

Veteran hooker Hannes Franklin starts at No 2, with Bok Bandise Maku on bench.

Grant Kemp starts at tighthead prop, with Kevin Buys on the bench.

Rynier Bernado starts at No 5 lock, with David Bulbring on the bench.

Cornel du Preez returns from injury (tight hamstring) and starts at No 8, with Jacques Engelbrecht on the bench.
