Gbs@57. Winters at its peak is actually a lot colder in SA than in NZ. Thing hat gets you here is not extreme cold but that the cold and wet together make it really miserable. Also winter can last until late November. Another factor that make winter worse in NZ is the darkness. It’s dark in the morning when you drive to work and it’s dark when you go home at 17h00.
2 Minutes to go…
A try could win it for the Rebels
Rebels not giving up.
62 @ McLook:
Yeah, I don’t like wet winters… and I detest wind in the winter too… makes the chill-factor much worse.
Did not realize you have so much darkness in winter.
Time is up… Saders lineout
Rebels need another O’Connel magic moment right now.
Too late. Way to close for comfort for the Crusaders.
Final Score: Crusaders 30 / 26 Melbourne Rebels
OK, back to bed for me… it is only 07:50 now…
Gbs@65. Daylight saving. Clock move ahead by an hour. So eight in the morning is actually 9:00am. In summer we have daylight untill 9:00pm in the evening. In winter though sun comes up late and goes down just after 5:00pm (17h00).
Cheers GBs.
