Duane was really daft there with that tackle. Refs have been going over the top with this now, but being consistent with it. Still now 100s if that was a tip tackle, but if it looks anything like it a player is off for 10min. Damn come on now Stormers get it together.
Stormers are getting frustrated (hence the Duanne yellow) because are losing the battle at the collisions and tackle ball.
It’s only the Stormers historical and stoic defence keeping them in the game. Now without any real form of attack, and 14 men, gaining the advantage is going to be a mountain to climb
Penalty Stormers, very, very kickable
Crusaders 16 / 14 Stormers
212 @ McLook:
Agree McLook, but should be disciplined. Refs have been going hell for leather with this tip tackle thing. It looks anything like it your player is off for 10min. Need to be very disciplined.
Jean almost lost that ball. He took it up but got isolated. Fortunate penalty. Jantjies going off.
Elton Jantjies & Gio Aplon off, Taute on.. and who else?
Aplon not happy bout coming off….and I don’t blame him either.
Is Duvenage now in 10?
Saders scrum on halfway
Good Stormers getting 3 points with a man in the bin. Come on Stormers just do it.
@ superBul:
Duando, haven’t seen that move in Judo yet.
Oh, Groom is on too…
Who has gone to fh for Stormers?
Massive Saders scrum… and they have time to choose and hold an election about what to do with the ball
One more sub to go please.
Perfect tactical kick from Blyendaal. He can do because his pal is moving forward.
224 @ grootblousmile:
Think it is Dewaldt to fh as I said he should have gone much earlier. Elton was having a shocker today.
@ fender:
Yes, Gio is upset, and rightly so, dunno why he was taken off.
Nick Groom with a great touchfinder
19 Minutes to go in the match
First proper line kick by Stormers. Groom off the back of the ruck.
What’s wrong with putting Langbek at 2 in the lineout and throwing it at him?
Keep it simple ouens…
Saders penalty, against Kolisi for not rolling away
234 @ fender:
Agree.
Stormers lineout on their own 5
Again, stoic defence
This is the first weekend I see that a scrum gets awarded when a player cannot roll away. Did I miss it all the time or is this a new thing?
Commentators starting to catch up on what is happening. Stormers just fanning out and not committing at the tackle ruck.
