10 Minutes to go
105 @ Just For Kicks:
Hello JFK, Tobias Botes was born in Worcester in the Cape. He plays for Treviso where former Bok and Blue Bulls flyhalf Franco Smith is the coach.
Their site says something about him playing Currie Cup for Griquas and also he spent time with Boland and also some reference to Super rugby with the Cheetahs, although my Italian is not that great
Match heading for exciting finish.
Commentators must be reading this site. Just commented on Barratts lack of passing!!!!!
123 @ Bullscot:Hi, Thanks, Bully
The Italian number 14 is impressive.
Even Englands pillars are crumbling!
Italy 5m out….
C’mon Italy. Great stuff
Arghhh, knock
England players coming in from the side, illegal hands on the ball, and suspicious offsides, and they get away with it all. Italians have a right to feel a bit miffed.
Geez, that was moerse pressure by Italy. Who would have thought England would be desperately hanging on in the last 10 mins.
117 @ Just For Kicks:
Oi! You bad man, I don’t play the Bru but you can go and have a look a few days ago I said a full house of 20 points would be great but hard to get but that we should come back from down under with at least 12 points, my thinking was either from at least 3 out of 4 wins, or at least 2 wins with 2 losing bonus points and 2 bonus try points, so 12 was the minimum we can’t get 20 anymore but hey 19 points are still possible.
Unlike the Sharks/Kings game, here the ref has slightly favoured the stronger team.
One more chance for the Italians. How they have made this 6N a pleasure to watch!!!!
@ The_Young_Turk:
Just for clarification I meant England as the “stronger” team in case anyone was wondering 😉
England penalty… a relieving one
134 @ Bullscot: Hahaha, only referring to ‘Bru, mate! Over our first beer together, I will expound why I think SuperBru is the worst thing for rugby and its support thereof
2 Minutes to go…
Commentators are so desperate to see the positives from this England performance.
Seconds left…. Italy has the ball… but kicked away… no it almost works
England hacks it out
Game over!
Final Score: England 18 / 11 Italy
England may have won the game on paper, but in the minds and hearts of every non-english rugby supporter, it was Italy. Well played, great game, never gave up, and for my MOTM, the award goes to the entire Italian team. Well done Italy
Well done Gli Azzurri! Nearly caused an even bigger upset than their victory at home over the Frogs.
Chaps, see I’ve added video highlites to the Blues / Bulls live game Article
Right, Cheers chaps, have a good week, and catch up later
