Go Proteas!
Game is on and a slow first 3 overs for the Blomme
SA 83/2 after 16 overs and 1 ball, Smith out for 30, Amla just out now for 43 off 43 balls.
Colin Ingram goes to his half-ton!
Well done!
SA 175 / 2 after 31.4 overs
SA 192 / 2 after 34 overs
Looks like a high-scoring pitch… and the Blomme would have to up the ante even more because of exactly that fact.
The groundsman of the pitch said before the match that it would be a high-scoring game.
So, although it looks like the Blomme are really doing well, they MUST do even better from hereon in.
Arghhhh!
AB de Villiers perishes on 65.
SA 203 / 3 after 36.1 overs
Faf du Plessis the new batsman
Colin Ingram goes to his ton in the 50th over, with a magnificent 4!
Well done… whoop!
SA ends their innings on 315 / 4 after their 50 overs.
Is it 25 runs light?
Brilliant innings by Colin Ingram sees SA going into the hut for a much better total than anticipated after SA had only 15 runs on the board after 5 overs. Smith and Amla battled for the first part of the innings, especially to spin. But when they were both out in a short space of time, it brought to the crease first De Villiers, and soon thereafter Ingram, who both set about increaseing the run rate, pushing up the score and generally just annoying the Pakistani’s. De Villiers wnet on to score a 50 before holing out to mid-wicket,but Ingram, with the help of a great cameo performance by Behardin at the end, went onto score 105 not out to give SA a fighting total of 315/4 in their alloted overs
Pakistan 42 / 1 after 8 overs
Pakistan 52 / 1 after 11 overs
Pakistan 52 / 2 as Hafeez departs… close call by the 3rd umpire
We are in a strange scenario. Having a awesome team for one test and 1 days T20’s is impossible as we would break our bowlers. Like the others are doing. So I don’t care if we don’t do well in it as long as we keep on klapping the other teams like we been doing. After all who will remember who won a one day series or T20 international in a couple of years time? No one. Who will remember a test series. Everyone
Pakistan 82 / 3 after 21 overs
Pakistan now on 114 / 4 after 26 overs
Pakistan 135 / 5 after 28.5 overs
Pakistan 148 / 6 after 31.5 overs
Pakistan 165 / 7 after 33.5 overs
Pakistan 178 / 8 …. 34.4 overs gone
Make that 178 / 9 after 34.5 overs
Pakistan all out for 190 on 36.2 overs
South Africa win comprehensively by 125 runs
