No was out doing something at my pool missed it. Only watching this game on and off, not great to watch, well the bit I have watched. What happened with the penalty try?

  • 34

It was like last night… I was sitting next to Gavin Rich in the Press Box at Loftus.

When that dubious try of Jean de Villiers was awarded (after Habana continuing to play ther ball on the ground and the scrummie’s clear knock in the movement just before Habana came close), he said… “I’m not going to write about this try… it’s a farce… I have never seen such a stupid TMO ruling”

… and for the record, just remember and bear in mind that Gavin Rich is a massive Sharks supporter, with no love lost for the Bulls….

Gavin, poor farker, has to catch a bus to Bloemfontein for this afternoon’s game… hehehe

    Hurricanes 20 / 19 Blues

  • 36

Come on Canes damn just when you think can can score they knock on.

  • 37

Jeez, who’s that Blues oke warming up to come on as a sub…

Looks like he forgot to comb his mop of hair since getting out of bed this morning…. hahahaha

Osama Bin Laden’s deurmekaar hair brother?

  • 38

Blues penalty, and kicked out 5m from Canes line

    34 @ grootblousmile:
Still have not watched the game proper from last night. Going to watch it after the Reds/Tahs game.

Gavin Rich is NO Shark supporter NOT in a long shot ever. You just have to have read his articles on Super Sport last year, no way is he a Sharks Supporter, always has something daft to say about the Sharks. Sometimes don’t take his articles serious because of that.

So has to get the Bus to Bloem from Joburg….. Overjoy So not all play it is being a sports journo then…….. hahahahahaha.

He confirmed to me personally that he’s a Sharks supporter… last night!

We were discussing this afternoon’s match between the Cheetahs and Sharks….

He said, will be nice to see the Springbok flyhalf in action…

I said, are you referring to Lambie or Goosen… he said, damn, you’re right, I forgot about Goosen…

    He also lives in Durbs

Well if Blues win this game it looks like I will be sitting on my backside at the bottom of our pool. Wanted to put Chiefs then listened to the Reunion show and picked Landers on the last minute, then thought to put Bulls being a home game, just thought with Groom, Elton and Taute they might do something special last night especially with Bulls having some players out injured. So got that one wrong too, now looks like I have this one wrong as well. Nothing new for me, I usually get it wrong in Super Rugby…… Cry-Out

  • 44

Frank Halai scores for the Blues… bonus point!

    42 @ grootblousmile:
Jeepers well that is a massive surprise because the articles he wrote about the Sharks last year on SS never reflected it that way. I always thought he was a Province/Stormer supporter and lived in Cape Town. So had that one wrong then. He better then start writing some better articles about my Sharks….. Wink

  • 46

    Blues 31 / 20 Hurricanes

    44 @ grootblousmile:
Okay well that is my bru kaput for now then… Distort

  • 48

    45 @ Puma:
Always knew he was a Sharks supporter, having sat with him in the Press Box on a number off occasions… but last night it was confirmed from the horse’s mouth.

I can tell you who any of the Journo’s really shout for….

  • 49

    42 @ grootblousmile:
He is a Lambie supporter I know that from his articles. So he was referring there to Pat.

  • 50

My Bru farked for this one too….

Time is up on the clock, penalty Blues… Weepu will have a shot at goal

  • 51

    Slotted

    Final Score: Blues 34 / 20 Hurricanes

    48 @ grootblousmile:
Well last year his articles pointed out he was supporting the Stormers all the way and no way did his articles look like he was supporting the Sharks ever. So it is a surprise for me to hear he is a Shark Supporter. Better get moving and write some decent stuff about my team this year………… 🙂

  • 53

    49 @ Puma:
He was also saying he hopes his side goes one better this year to take the title….

  • 54

Well done Blues. Good to have them back. Though wanted a Canes win for my bru.

  • 55

    54 @ Puma:
Personally glad the Canes did not even pick up a Log point… they’ll be more of a factor later on than the Blues

  • 56

    53 @ grootblousmile:
Well last year I can assure you from his articles on SS he was supporting Stormers and not the Sharks. He wrote us off when we played the Reds, we beat them. Then totally wrote us off when we had to play the Stormers and we beat them. After that never read much of his articles. Now if he is a Sharks supporter will go back to SS and read what he has to say about his team then….hehehehe. Hope none of the bulldust he wrote about the Sharks last year.

    54 @ Puma:
Did you get a chance to go through that Media Guide for the year I posted Thursday night?

  • 58

    56 @ Puma:
Sometimes when a journo supports a certain side, they tend to be overly critical of their mistakes… to attempt to appear unbiased and neutral.

  • 59

    55 @ grootblousmile:
Yes did think that right now as well. Though think Blues will play a lot better this year. Sharks miss playing the Canes this year, remember they beat us by plenty last year. We play the Blues in Durbs this year. Though the Sharks have had the wood over them for many, many years now. Think we have beaten them every year since 2006. They will play better as the tourney goes now that they have GH helping them I think.

No I have not done so just yet. Will go read it now as we wait for the next game.
