2nd try of the match coming from a deft chip kick from Coleman, collected by Gio Aplon who beats the cover defense on the inside to score under the posts. Coleman looking very composed in open play, but misses the conversion in front of the poles.
Stormers 12 Boland 0
The Sormers players looking very cohesive at the moment, with De Allende taking the ball up well in the line, and Duvenhage recycling quickly to the line. Stormers are not choosing to kick much at this stage, concentrating on getting the backline working well.
2 @ Stormersboy:
You’ve got to enter the scores, the minutes and the Scorers… and see if you can add the Team Sheets, please.
Eben limping off with what looks like a knee injury, Steenkamp replaces him. Hope it’s nothing serious.
Jean DeVillers capitalizes on some loose defense from Boland, benefiting from a good inside pass from Taute to go over in the 23rd minute. Ref confers with the TV official before awarding the try. Coleman missed the conversion from 15 meters inside.
Play is a bit scrappy at the moment, with both sides playing a very loose game, trying out moves, looking to move the ball through the hands. Deon Fourie called for a skew throw in.
Stormers take the ball up strongly through another (1 or 3 so far) strong run my Elstadt, ball moved wide, ruck on the Boland try-line, but knocked on by Bekker.
6 @ Stormersboy:
Scores and Scorers at the top, brother… PLUS Minutes played next to the two teams scores…..
GOT to do it… can’t stay at 0 / 0
Halvorson yellow carded for a ruck offense on the stroke og half time, Stormers elect to take a scrum, ball moved wide and knocked on by DeAllende, which brings the half to a close.
@ grootblousmile:
Yip, sorted.
Good backline move sees Habana go up the touchline, tackled high, but Bekker crosses the line from the resulting recycle. Pieterson who is on for Taute makes the conversion.
Some scrappy play by Boland lets the Stormers move the play upfield, some good inter-passing puts Kolisi into space to score under the posts. Pietson Converts.
Stormers take the ball up again through a great run by Joe Pieterson, the resulting recycle sees the Boland penalised for off-side, kick to touch, line out 5 meters out. Resulting maul-drive sees the Stormers cross over for their 6th try. Credited to Kolisi. Pieterson converts.
Gmpfff… good score for the Stormers, so far
13 Minutes to go in the match…
One way traffic now as Martin Bezuidenhoud takes a lineout ball at the back and chips the ball upfield, almost outrunning the chasing defense. The stormers now camping on Boland’s line. Just a matter of time before the next score.
Kolisi scores!
Stormers 43 / 0 Boland
Kolisi scores his hat-trick with another try to the Stormers, coming from sustained pressure in the Boland 22. Boland are wilting under the constant pressure.
Joe hits the post with his conversion attempt.
Boland replacement Dual Erasmus butchering a scoring opportunity, probably the only one they will get, knocking on an attempt to gather a chip kick. No one in front of him.
Stormers back in the Boland half, Schreuder looking good at 10 as a replacement.
Try GifAplontjie
Stormers score through Aplon, ruck with quick ball after a turnover and an overlap on the left, Pieterson converts.
Stormers 50 / 0 Boland
Try Smoking Joe Pietersen
Final Score: DHL Stormers 57 / 0 Boland
