All 3 Live Game Articles scheduled for tomorrow… now to just go do my Bru picks….
Then it’s time for bed.
The Blues were better than I expected them to be last week but I cannot see the Saders losing this one.
Good morning fellow Rugby lovers, friends, moepels & mopkoppe!
This 1st game this morning is THE biggest traditional New Zealand derby…. the old foes against one another.
Hope we see hard and challenging rugby, really looking forward to it.
OK, back to work for another half an hour…
Crusaders taking the field for their first outing of the season.
Come on, shuffle up… game about to start in a couple of minutes!
Blues also now out on the field, sporting an almost Harlequins-style shirt.
Game ON!
Some early kicks and uppies by Carter & Co… bit nervous I would suppose
Blues on the other hand, looking to fling the ball around
Crusaders penalty… should be a shot at goal… and is.
Crusaders 3 / 0 Blues
Immediate penalty to the Blues, from the kick-off… and this one very kickable too.
Weepu for goal…
Off the post.. Blues will have to find a better kicker this season.
Weepu last week only 5 from 9 to goal, now 0 from 1
That is a 50% kicking rate, not good enough!
No Weepu cannot. He missed it. Weepu cannons one off the upright and the ball bounces out to safety. 3-0 still !
Scrum just outside the Saders 22, Blues ball
That was SWAK from Weepu. Must say though, this season he’s in better shape than I’ve seen him in many seasons.
