All our SuperBru Widgets are up on the righthand sidebar…. we’re ready for Rugby here at Rugby-Talk!
Sent invitations to all our regular Pool Members of 2012… but it was fast, so I might have slipped some… if you don’t receive an Invite by Mail, join the pools as per the Pool Names and Pool Codes above.
If you CLICK on any of the individual Pool Names, it will take you straight to the Pool, to join.
Another option is to click on the Sidebar Widget, for the applicable Pool… and navigate your way to the right Competition and the right Pool.
Done, lets hope I’m able to crawl out of mediocrity this year 🙂
4 @ Stormersboy:
I’m resolute in kicking some butt this year on SuperBru!
Remember, one can join various Pools in 1 type of competition, so there are no excuses not to join the Rugby-Talk pools!
The FIRST SuperBru Competition starts this Saturday 19 January, the Lions Challenge2013, so join up and get your pick in, in time!
Saturday sees the Lions play Russia.
For those who are interested in playing for money let me know and I will share the details of some “pay to play” pools – some have decent bucks to make
Good news for the other SA franchises, both Bulls props Greyling and Kruger have extended their contracts until 2015.
Peter and Elton must be pleased I’m sure!
In fact this is good news for place kickers around the country.

@ superBul:
GM Super, we did do an article with all those match details up
Ha Ha, not surprisingly, Voldy has put the curse on the Tjarks, by backing them to take the 2013 S15 SA Conference. Aren’t they always the favourites at this stage of the competition every year?
Tjarks are masters of smoke and mirrors. Their squad looks star studded, but are usually an injury or two away from another blow out.
Here are the “if’s” – If Beast pulls a hammy, disaster, as Chadwick couldn’t prop up a ladder if he tried. This will filter through the ranks. If Bismarck’s recovery takes a tad longer, they will be slow outta the blocks, and play catchup till the cows come home.
Stormers are in slightly better shape, till Table Mountain’s favourite son returns from Sushiland, and Jantjies gets shifted to scrumhalf, to accomodate him
Bulls may be the surprise contender for 2014 when a real flyhalf gets to play
So that leaves the Cheetahs as the unlikely contenders
Remember folks, you heard it here first!
@ Cheetah4eva:
No we read it on Voldy first, 😉
You love telling us how the Sharks fail?? and how voldy is the kiss of death for them???
What you forget to say is that they are always right re the Cheetahs though?? and that they always linger at the bottom 3 or 4 ?? 😆
Okay I am in all the pools except the Varsity pool.
@ Puma:
Hey Pooms, you well??
I prolly will only join the Super Rugby pool.
16 @ Sharks_forever:
Morning bro, how you doing? Hope well.
I had to think hard if I wanted to ply Super Rugby as it is so very long and I was totally useless at it last year, then thought just give it a go and have some fun…….hehehe. The 6 nations is a short one so find that one a bit easy, the Lions one will be interesting as we don’t know much about the other teams.
15 @ Sharks_forever:
Yeah I am always well. See you say that on the otherside they have us as favourites to win the SR? Well this is the first time I will venture over there to read. Have not read anything there since I left not even their articles. Will go and read this article now. Back in a minute.
Lol Bro yeah doing well thanks and glad things are good on your side,
As for Favorites tags?? don’t read to much into it, That means nothing, Sharks are focused and are intent on a fast start as they do not want to play catch up again this year
19 @ Sharks_forever:
Okay just read that article. I don’t take that sort of articles serious though. This is a very long season and anything could happen. Injuries will play a roll here as they did last year. We have to remember we are without Bissie when we play Cheetahs and Stormers. Cheetahs have two of the finest 6 flanks in the country and Stormers have Deon that will do some damage at the breakdowns much like he done to us in the CC. We going to have to play smart there, get there in numbers and very fast. Think we may struggle at the start without Bissie. I hope not but he is such a huge player for us. Burden has to be on his game from the start.
@ Puma:
true and like I said before I had a good chat with Bashford, I have a good idea of what’s happening
12 @ Cheetah4eva:
Bissie will only be back mid or end April. So we could be slow out of the blocks much like we were last year, but we finished with some of the best rugby played in S15 last year. Sharks are like that we don’t want to run out of puff half way through by hitting the wall to early, we pace ourselves rather nicely and come firing past everyone at the end, though this time we need to have enough left for the final, need to get that home semi this year……. hahaha.
21 @ Sharks_forever:
Yeah that chat must have been interesting. Just looking at Gallo Photos of the Sharks training last week, they all looking in excellent shape. We will be ready, now no injuries in training this year, remember last year Beast broke his ankle and that put us on the back foot before we started. We can’t have any from the front row injured as we are already without Bissie.
@ Puma:
only outstanding injuries is Bissy, BEAST I SPOKE TO AND HE SAID HE IS 200% AND RARING TO GO
Here is the link to the Gallo Photos of Sharks training.

24 @ Sharks_forever:
Good to hear about Beast. Look at the photos above from the link I posted.
Okay nothing came up for that. See if this one works.
