Folks, are we going to do a Stormers vs Boland live game article too, it’s on at exactly the same time as the MTN Lions vs Southern Kings match?
If we are going to do one, I need a volunteer to Captain the Live Game Article for us, as my attention will have to be on the Lions / Kings match.
Of course we won’t do a Live Game Article on the Bulls vs Cheetahs match in Polokwane this afternoon, seeing as it’s not televised live at all…. pity, would have been great to watch that one!
I’ve scheduled the 2 Six Nations matches for today, Scotland vs Italy at 16:30 and France vs Wales at 19:00.
The Blues have picked up their first win of the preseason beating the Waratahs 40-36 in Whangarei.
Following on from their 45-31 loss to the Reds last weekend, there was some importance on the Blues ending up on the right side of the ledger in this game and it was something they only just achieved with Peter Saili scoring the match-winning try from the last play of the game.
Played in front of around 5000 spectators, this was a game where neither team’s coaches would have been happy with their defensive play, but attacking wise they can be optimistic about the season ahead.
Blues 40 Lolagi Visinia, Peter Saili 2, Tim Perry, Waisake Naholo, Malakai Fekkitoa tries; Albert Nikoro con, Baden Kerr 4 cons.
Waratahs 36 Cam Crawford, Jed Holloway, Tom Kingston 3, Israel Folau tries; Brendan McKibbon, Bernard Foley cons, Matt Lucas con. HT: 12-7
2 & 3 @ superBul:
Ek het reeds ‘n volle artikel hieroor opgesit.
The Chiefs have made it two from two in their pre-season after the Super Rugby champions knocked over the Reds on the Sunshine Coast last night.
The visitors had to come from behind in a low-scoring contest, before pulling away late to take the match 20-8 at Stockland Stadium.
For the first hour the Chiefs were outdone at scrum time, with Reds tighthead and stand-in captain James Slipper standing out, while at the lineout Rob Simmons made three first half steals.

Ooo sorry, ek het nie refresh nie ek sit hier op die thread en hanna hannah
1: nee wat, los die stormers game, dit gaan net so match fixing wees soos die Wit Buffel se geveg teen Sony Baby Williams, hehe
@ ben-die-bul:
How low can you go, ek dink ons moet n streep trek, varsity cup is die laagste vlak wat ons aandag verg. Los die Sport Pienaar game maar uit….
A dream return to Super Rugby looks certain for Clyde Rathbone, with the former Wallabies winger scoring two tries in the Brumbies 38-7 win over the ACT XV on Friday.
Rathbone, who retired from professional rugby in 2009, had both his trademark corner-finding speed and the slick hands of Christian Lealiifano to thank for his tries.
Coach Jake White said Lealiifano looked dangerous every time he touched the ball.

Game starting a bit earlier than I thought.
