Pakistan 231 / 9, still 22 runs behind
SA win, by an Innings and 18 runs
Another big win for the Blomme. Are we going to finally see an era of SA dominance like unto the era of the Windies and then the Ozzies? Here’s hoping
Well, South Africa have dispatched England in England, Australia in Australia, then New Zealand in South Africa and now Pakistan in South Africa.. all in succession!
That is massive going, and South Africa absolutely deserves the No 1 Spot in Test Cricket in the world.
India, Windies & Sri Lanka basically remain, as Zimbabwe and Bangladesh are’nt serious contenders anyway.
The Windies might pose a much better batting performance against SA (with Gayle and Co, the hard-hitting and fearless Windies) compared to the last 4 sides… maybe India too… and I would suspect both the Windies pace attack and Indian bowling attack just might present a unique and tougher challenge.
Still, you can only play what is presented to you.
When do we play either the Windies or India or Sri Lanka, anybody have our schedule for the next year and a bit?

65 @ dWeePer:
Thanks!
Congrats Bif and team , you made us so proud. We are riding the high wafe now, players come in and win MOM awards. The whole aura and confidence makes us a feared team right now. Few teams would have gone on as if nothing went wrong like we did in this test.
Losing 50% of our Fast bowling team, yes the combination of Steyn , Phlander, Morkel and the brilliant backup of Jacques is proven and trustworthy, and have 2 guys stepping in and bowl like the did , is just awesome.
To be in this teammust now the biggest inspiration any player can have. Well done Abbott.
