Corporate I worked for only gave me one ticket to the box at an age group world cup final. Then I had a ticket from a supplier to SA vs NZ in that WC. And onther supplier gave me tickets to a match at the IPL.

Hy is glo vroeër in ‘n Durbanse hospital opgeneem.

Former South African rugby boss Louis Luyt has died at the age of 80, it was confirmed on Friday.

Volksblad’s sport editor, Hendrik Cronjé, confirmed the news to Sport24 on Friday. The cause of Luyt’s death is still unknown but he had been suffering with heart ailments for some time.

Luyt was the president of the then South African Rugby football Union (SARFU) when the Springboks won the Rugby World Cup in 1995.

Luyt quit as SARFU boss in 1998 after being accused of racism and financial mismanagement.

He was also president of the Transvaal Rugby Union (Golden Lions) in the late 1980s and early 1990s.

Golden Lions Was just that under Louis Luyt

Out of here again, will take laptop with , maybe i can follow the News this way.

Another great South African died today,
    Dereck Joubert
Thank you all for your condolences. Keith Joubert was many things to many people, but he embraced life with a vigour that few have had. His fame was underplayed because he wanted it that way. He loved Val like no other. His art changed the way art is done in the wildlife arena, each decade stepping it up in a way that others could only follow. He raged against poaching and mediocrity of art or thought and against anyone who had a large ego and a deficient sense of humour. We was a warrior for Africa, its special cultures that colourful people and its wildlife.
We duelled intellectually and creatively almost daily, testing thoughts, ideas, films, paintings, ethics and more and more we shared a distaste for safari hunting and poaching, (much the same thing, one semi legal, one not) so anyone who still believes in hunting should exit my FB group. If I have relaxed my guard on hunting, saving big cats, rhino wars and the battle to keep African landscapes pristine and safe from bullets and bulldozers it will be re-energized, bolstered by knowing that I walk this path now with the ghost of my brother on one side and Beverly on the other.
