Morning!
SA won the toss and elected to bat
Morning all
Nice 4 to open the innings
Howzit Puma – snow forecast for this weekend so a bit chills but better than being in the riots of Grabouw I think!
Smith off the mark, good man!
9 @ bean1:
Morning Beanie,
Did greet you on another thread. How are you enjoying being back in Scotland? Are you well settled in now?
10 @ bean1:
Snow sounds good to me. We have had some serious heat with the humidity here in Umhlanga the past few weeks, today finally some rain so kinda enjoying it being cooler.
Biff took quite a biff of a bouncer and really felt the effects… but seems to be OK now
SA 42 / 1 after 14 overs
SA 78/1 after 23 overs
SA now 126 / 2
SA 137 / 3
Kallis out cheaply
Amla dropped. How many times has he had a chance in an innings and come out the other side. I hope he makes them pay for that mistake. Set to bring up his 50.
SA score ticking on nicely now 181/3 – Amla 62 and de Villiers 28 at the crease
India 191/3 in 33rd over chasing England’s 325/4 off 50.
Samit Patel scored 44 off 20 balls for England, combining with Craig Kieswetter to put on 70runs 5th wicket partnership at the end of the innings with these coming in 6 overs and one ball must have been some batting to see.
Nice day for a century Amla, DO IT!
SA 265/4 Amla 91, Faf 29 both at the crease, new ball due in around 4 overs.
England beat India by runs as India only managed 316/9 in their reply chasing England’s 325/4. England spinner who got 4 wickets for 44 runs off his 10 overs was man of the match.
New Ball due in 2 overs
Hope Amla gets his Ton, AGAIN…. and then goes BIG!
Amla now needing only 7 for his ton
Amla gets his ton with a marvelous 4
OK, next Faf must get his Half-ton…. 7 runs away from it
Well played Hash. As usual. What a quality player.
