These second string Blommetjies are certainly not at the level of the old stars but the only way they are going to improve is if they get the opportunity. We’ll just have to be prepared to lose a lot of one dayers in the meantime….
12 an over required…
9th Wicket goes
SA 232 / 9
Die komentators is erger as die k#k krieket wat ons opdis. Ons is down and out jul swaape, 50 om te kry in 4 beurte, wake up. Wil julle so graag soos Aussie komentators klink , gee dan minstens ietwat realistiese komentaar.
Warren: “This is getting comical now…. What was Kleinveldt thinking? 6 wickets for 49 runs in 14 overs…. Why is it with South African cricket players getting nervous and pushing the self destruct button? Not even Freud could explain it….”
Morkel walks in
The writing’s on the wall now for South Africa, it’s some collapse. Theyb were 165 for 1 at one stage.
Just another 7 sixes from Morkel and we can still pull this off…
Hierdie is nou n ALL BLACK pak, en dit nadat ons die Kiwis gemors het in die toetse.
18 balls remain, 37 needed
SA Krieket moet hul koppe laat lees. Soos GBS se ons het arrogant geword
Come on Lopsie
Current partnership 11 runs, 0.4 overs, RR: 16.50 (Morkel 7, Tsotsobe 4)
we needed this from the 6th wicket partnership
Middle of our batting lot cost us, no urgency whatsoever
Flok Morkel…..
Just in…. how lazy was that
Fat lady is well up…. throat is cleared
Hulle try die rekord boeke haal met run outs
@ grootblousmile:
I think these guys don’t really expect to be able to win from here, so that’s why he was so lackadaisical…
29 needed off 8 balls…. never going to happen
107 @ The_Young_Turk:
Paar ouens se gatte moet hard geskop word
A boundary every ball is needed… and at least 2 will have to be 6’s
So just 5 sixes from 6 balls needed 😉
Lopsie out, bowled
New Zealand win by 27 runs
Some New Zealanders will sleep better tonight
So guys, nice chatting to youse again. Till next time, keep the peckers up and at the ready!
Ciao a tutti!
@ The_Young_Turk:
111
3 sixes and 2 4s would have worked
Poor play SA

Tjorts!
I’m also out… gaan nou ‘n bed seermaak!
It’s been a difficult tour, but New Zealand have achieved something very significant here. They allowed South Africa back in the game, starting with the way Brendon McCullum got out, but Williamson saw them through to a competitive score, and New Zealand were far superior in the field during the chase. The players shake hands, South Africa will have to introspect, these are two games they could have won. Big smiles in the New Zealand camp. Lots of flak for their performances of late, but this should lift their spirits.
Cheers , let me get out too

Well done New Zealand.
