Kuiken moord
To rub salt in the wounds, SA must now bat at a healthy rate and end the day with all wickets in tact… hehehe
91 @ Sharks_forever:
Kiwi Kuikenmoord… hehehehe
So we come into bat after lunch. Who would have thought? Look I expected us to beat them but not totally destroy them this way!
When does Englane come here? Would have enjoyed it if they were here right now. Always enjoy test cricket, just don’t enjoy watching such a one sided test to be honest. I love the thrill of fighting all the way for the win.
Has New Zealand cricket regressed this badly or is SA just so bloody hot at the moment?
Englane = England
Vernon Philander’s figures are absolutely amazing: 6 overs, 3 maidens, 7 runs conceded, 5 wickets
Phweeeew
Ok so the Lowest score ever in tests for the kiwi’s is 26 vs England, then 42 against Aussies and now 45 against us
Great work, SA, now lets bat for 2.5 days and accumulate a massive total. What a start to 2013!

Think New Zealand cricket is at a all time low right now. Did they not lose their Captain before this test? Think he walked out or something like that, not totally sure.
Anyhow that does not take away from our brilliant team, because we are most definitely on a all time high right now. Wish we were playing England today though. Would have enjoyed the thrill of a big battle out there for the win. Just get more pleasure watching two equally good teams playing test cricket.
@ Just For Kicks:
I don’t think we will need to bat the 2 and a half days, why would we need 800 runs?? 😆
So…SA do bat before lunch on day one after fielding first. Can someone tell me if this is a record, or if it has been done before in an international?
To be fair we did have a good wicket to bowl on, the same on that the NZ bowlers will now bowl on so we cannot let our guard down. Graeme are you listening??? I hope so.
yes it has been done before
on many occasions
Like I posted before, the Black Caps lowest 3 scores to date is 26 vs Eng, 42 vs Aussie and 45 vs us
Smith gone. Could it be the pitch, after all?
Smith out plumb, just a very poor shot
played all around the ball
Smith goes lbw not even a run………..
Have we been cheering too early here?
Arghhhh, Biff departs in the 2nd over.
SA 1 / 1
I guess not.
106 @ Just For Kicks:
Snap! Time will tell soon enough.
@ Just For Kicks:
Not the pitch boet, that was full and straight, that was just poor batting, a bad pitch would see the ball shooting all over the place.
Amla just survives. There is something going on out there
Look there is movement off the seam, but it is not huge movement, players are not getting behind the ball like they should.
That’s a 280/350 run wicket, just not a 450/600 run wicket
112 @ Sharks_forever:Always been Smiths downfall, bowl him around leg stump early, and that is always your best chance against him. He never moves his feet early on, and it is always more difficult to judge how quickly the ball is coming on, so early in the innings.
Compliments of the season everybody. Gee, could hardly believe the score now, had to make sure it was a test match we are playing in.
11 wickets before lunch – who need T20’s?
Lunch, Day 1
SA 3 / 1 (2 overs)
NZ were 45 ALL OUT
117 @ Cheetah4eva:
Hello,
Compliments of the season to you too
