SA were really strangling NZ, and that was a bit of a lash by Williamson. Great work by SA stifling the runs. Forced NZ a bit.
NZ 21/3
A power cut in Paarl. Doesn’t help viewing now, does it?
152 @ Just For Kicks:
Was just about to post the score. Now a power cut. Certainly don’t help viewing at all.
Batting must be tough out there today then after all.
lol, power failure at the ground
Welcome to South Africa, a world class African 3rd world country, you have a nice day now
Been a very good start by South Africa, really kept a lid on the scoring rate. Certainly led to that last wicket. Some awesome fielding, and de Villiers runout is just one bit of proof for that. Only slip was Smiths drop catch at second slip. Good strangling stuff from SA, and just what they need after a low score in their innings.
How are the power cuts in general? Is there a return to the dark days of a few years ago, or is this just a one off?
3.00pm Score update: New Zealand have now moved along to 35 for 3.
*edit* crickinfo was talking kak
It is actually okay, pity the ones that occur get’s international TV coverage
No more load shedding and stuff luckily
After 9 overs, New Zealand 27 / 3
NZ 43 / 3 after 10.5 overs
Off to the pub for lunch. Catch up in a bit
We need 2 more wickets and I think New Zealand will be in trouble…. although they bat well down to No 9 apparently
158 @ Just For Kicks:
Seems to be okay here. Had a power cut a few weeks back, but think it was nothing to do with load shedding at all.
163 @ Just For Kicks:
Enjoy it bud, that is the good life over there. I do enjoy the pubs over there, always good food as well. Have a pint for me.
Fark, no TV feed again, come on SuperSport….
NZ 64 / 3 after 15 overs
Still a break in transmission. Good grief this is making us look 3rd World being broadcast overseas and all.
167 @ grootblousmile:
hehehehe.
Frustrating for sure though.
168 @ Puma:
I’ve put a Live Game Article up for the Lions vs Russia match later.
Your Bru picks in?
170 @ grootblousmile:
Yes I put my bru pick in as soon as I registered…lol. Think I have Lions by 10 not sure, but have Lions to win.
NZ 73 / 3 after 17.1 overs
Looks like they are scoring at will now
It’s raining here at the Panne, nothing to do but wait it out… can’t even watch the Cricket live, with SuperSport’s live feed down.
Ah, a wicket down
74 / 4
Absolutely pathetic, there is still a break in transmission.
17.1
“Kleinveldt to BB McCullum, OUT, McCullum is gone lbw, Kleinveldt strikes, that was a good length delivery that swerved back in, struck on the back foot,
McCullum spoke to the umpire about a review, but it seems that the lack of power at the ground means all the tools of the referral system can’t be used,
McCullum will have to walk off, this is bizarre scenes from Boland Park, doesn’t reflect too well on the organisation”
17.6
Kleinveldt to Elliott, no run, that snakes in a long way, strikes him on the full, big lbw appeal, but it is turned down,
South Africa are absolutely convinced that is out, but again the lack of power means there can be no replays
Well I submitted that post and it took forever to go through. Now the cricket is back finally.
