Match notes |

SA 119 / 5 after 29.4 overs
Quinton de Kock departs
New Zealand squanders a review too
31 Overs gone, Drinks
SA 121 / 5
We’ll be lucky to see 220.
Well that was invigorating, left the kids on the hill playing in the snow, thought I would come back to see SA tearing ahead. Not so, unfortunately, and I am not overly confident about McLaren. Huge potential a few years ago, but somehow never quite stepped up to the plate, a bit like Graham Hick
We had a better run rate in the tests!!!!!
So, what’s the verdict… a difficult pitch or a very ordinary SA batting performance?
I see Bafana Bafana is playing Cape Verde at 18:00 in the Africa Nations Cup opener….
No way I can get excited for the round-ball game.
Farkit…. let me go do something, you guys are dead
@ grootblousmile: Definitely the pitch
98 @ grootblousmile: Probably won’t win
Farkin smileys, I’d ban them if i was king!
98 @ gbs
Agreed, no passion for that game
and responsibilities this side , not solely sitting in front of a PC with one eye on the telly
Rainy day, kids can’t play outside, need to be with them as well
Better over with Mills bowling. Batting powerplay. McLaran with 2 fours so far. 13 runs from the over. Good one.
150/5
hope this is the jump start they needed
Day looks great out there. Have to say this is one of the most picturesque grounds about.
Faf to his 50. Good work, son.
3 very good overs. Gone for about 30.
176/5 after 40 overs. So what can we do in the last 10 overs? Could we get upto 250? We may need too.
Mclaren not happy with that decision.
179/9
Well we may not even see all our overs through.
Peterson gone for a duck, eish. Not good from SA. I think that pitch is worse than we think. Too many LBW’s
Meant 179/7
Now 180/7
113 @ Just For Kicks:
Hope it is worse than we think. Commentators said it was good for 250 out there today. Don’t seem like it from here.
Now Faf gone. Oh dear, SA looking particularly poor at the moment. Will be interesting to see the NZ batting innings
Faf gone, doubt we will even make 200 now.
@ Puma:Yup, heard that, also heard them say it’s flattening out too. Thats not too good. who won the toss?
NZ all over Steyn.
118 @ Just For Kicks:
Not sure who won the toss. Only turned the tv on after we started.
See we 192/9 now.
