    @ Puma:
If we don’t have one in Natal?? bring in from elsewhere that has many years international 7’s experience

  • 482

    477 @ Sharks_forever:

I know the reason I am happy with our team. Really never expected them to make a cup semi. We can do better though with better players and coach.

  • 483

And choose players that you know wont make it in the 15 man game, there must surely be quite a few in Natal, But when you look this poor in a tournament ?? leaves a lot to be desired,

  • 484

I recon next year all the teams will enter more experienced players

  • 485

    481 @ Sharks_forever:
We should. How did we win the 7s tourney have no idea. Never watched that one or who was in the team just read we won it. Who were the players there? Anyhow think this could take off and become something really big here. Has been good fun for this year. I think more will take it more serious next year. Or will they?

  • 486

Pooms all you have to do is look at the better teams and the players positional play, their defense structures etc?? we stood so far back that whenever we passed the ball/ we got caught far behind the advantage line

  • 487

    483 @ Sharks_forever:
Just look how good Demas played. Forget the team he was in, but he stood out well. He never cut it in the 15s when he played for Cheetahs but watching him in the 7s again he is great there. Different players for 7s and the 15 game.

    484 @ grootblousmile:
For sure need more experienced players if we want to take it serious.

  • 488

Rain and serious lightning this side!

    Flok, whan is summer coming?

  • 489

Have deliberately disconnected my ADSL Telephone line, now over onto 3G, so lightning can’t damage my goeters here in the office.

  • 490

    486 @ Sharks_forever:
Yes I did notice that. So we need coaching for sure and also players better suited to this format. Who played for us in the 7s tourney we won recently? I know Speckman was in that team, but that is all. Only read it on Sports24 never watched it.

  • 491

    @ Puma:
we had 6 new players in our team for this tourney, Rosco Specman for example was out best player when we won the SA 7’s championships.

Quite a few youngsters brought in. and it showed\.

  • 492

So, all the teams for the rest of the fixtures have now been finalised and updated in the Fixtures list

  • 493

    489 @ grootblousmile:
That is something I do miss sometimes living here at the coast. Is those brilliant but scary highveld thunderstorms. We get some here but nothing quite like a thunderstorm up there. Looks like a storm on its way here too, though will be nothing like you have up there.

  • 494

PMB under a huge thunder stormer at the Mo! lightning and thunder like you can’t believe.

  • 495

    491 @ Sharks_forever:
So who was the coach for that? He got it right if we won that one. Think losing Specman is a loss to Sharks. Should have still had him. Played superb in a game in the CC against Province in the wet as well.

Why did we not just select the same team? Besides Specman as he has left Sharks now.

  • 496

    494 @ Sharks_forever:

Think that is heading our way. Though we won’t get is as bad as you up in Maritzburg.

  • 497

NBM Stars were great so doubt my Sharks will beat them either. We could end up 4th. Not bad with this team, never expected us to get this far. So all in all well done to my Sharks. Next year think teams will send more experienced players. That goes for, Bulls, Province and Sharks. Those other teams which I had not even heard of before have done far, far better than most Provincial sides. Only Cheetahs doing the business. Well Sharks did make it to the cup semi so Sharks sort of, but we were lucky to get there.

Farkit you know… some people are begging for a bliksem.

I ordered some more granite work at our house, for the Wash room and also a granite top for the main bedroom dressing room where I’ve also built a place for a basin and huge mirror on the wall for Handbriekie.

Paid the oke because he asked whether I could pay up front because he was struggling a bit financially.

His fist excuses was the strike amongst truck workers… and since then has just not bothered to return my calls.

Ek sal hom mos MOET opfok as hy my so behandel, nadat ek goed was vir hom!

    @ Puma:
To be honest Pooms I don’t think the Sharks management has taken this tourney as seriously as they should have, as for coach?? who knows boet?? Andre Joubert?? I am not sure If you look at the coaching staff of the Samurai’s?? bother ex Blitzbokke, IN Schoeman and Neil Powell

  • 507

    498 @ grootblousmile:
That is what you get paying up front. He will take you for a ride now. I would never do that, only pay on completion of the job, well will give a deposit and that is it. Otherwise you get messed about by these handymen or builders.

  • 508

Vikings score in the left corner
    Vikings 14 / 7 Mighty Mohicans

  • 509

    @ grootblousmile:
Rudi what’s your thoughts so far on 17 year old Jesse Kriel?? and of course I know it’s still early days?

  • 510

    507 @ Puma:
Old family friend of Handbriekie’s brother… knew the risks but thought I was helping the guy to his feet in the process, trying to do a good deed in the process.
