With a R1-million first prize and some of the fastest speedsters in the business, it was time for the inaugural IPL-style NBM Sevens Premier League tournament in George, South Africa
The Matches were hosted here and all 34 matches were broadcast live on SuperSport 6, with the first match at 11am on Friday between the NBM All Stars and Boland.
Saturday’s play began at 11:00, and culminate with the final at 6pm.

Also when they had the break earlier for lunch I went to look what is happening with the crici. At the time Cobras were 75/4 Think it was like that can’t remember. However, it was raining so not sure if the crici went ahead or not. So much rain up in the highveld again this year as here in KZN.

They sure are not playing well in this tourney. Have to say the unknown teams have played well. Some have ran off each other really well, the handling in some of those teams was really good. Not even sure of some of the players they might have played 7s before. The well known 7s players I did know.

So far I have enjoyed this tourney. Good for the future to have it this time of year. Pity not many people at the ground, but I think it will grow onto many like most tournements do. Probably tomorrow more will be at the ground.

Arghhhh, what the hell… I know how to do it, so I though, let me just do it.
Had a bit of extra time yesterday between work, was office bound the whole day, doing admin – invoicing the last big batch of client invoices for December, finalising some contracts, corresponding on E-Mail to various places, doing some stuff for the newly acquired funeral business… ect
