Today we had 2 Aviva Premiership games on TV, and we had this Live Game Article… but with a difference.
We were more casual, giving updates whilst talking nonsense inbetween.
How’s that for a nice mix?
Bath (0) 0 / 22 (16) Saracens (Final Score)
One thinks the SA sides kick a lot in a game… hell these okes do more than double the amount of kicking, a lot of it absolutely pointless and shabby
Quins penalty, easy’ish shot at goal
Harlequins 6 / 3 Northampton Saints
Not enough Saffas in this game… that’s why it’s a bit dour… hehehe
@ grootblousmile:
exactly, that’s why they weak internationally too,
Modern game requires the player to keep possession more

Hello GBS yeah he seems to have become a regular for Northampton, scored a try for them last weekend, will be interesting to hear what you make of his play. Also last weekend’s game it listed Courtney Lawes (lock) as replacement on for 8thman Van Velze which was an interesting one, the reversal of what happened at the Bulls with Van Velze being converted into a lock at times. Don’t know if it is Northampton long term plan or under instructions to play Lawes at 8thman but that reminds me of World Cup 95 where we had Mark Andrews at 8thman.
Hello Sharky hows it going man? Did you see I put a comment on your article for you oakes on your article about the Sharks new jersey
96 @ Bullscot:
Van Velze is an honest and hard-working player, but not international or Super Rugby caliber… he will do OK in Northern Hemisphere Club rugby, that’s about his ceiling
Phweeew… maybe I should go watch my painter’s paint dry during Halftime… might be more interesting than this getjommel
98 @ grootblousmile:
Ok GBS, I see Lawes started at lock for Northampton today so maybe it is not a long term plan of their’s to convert him to 8thman. Sorry haven’t updated the Aviva and Pro12 articles with team sheets, was hectic when I put them up yesterday and the site used didn’t have them all up yet, then later got busy with the 1872 cup game. That game was quite a good one to watch was better standard than I had expected as it has been so wet in Glasgow but I think what helped it looked as if most of the wind had died and not raining during the game.
100 @ Bullscot:
You did a stellar job on that thread… thanks bud!
Lemoenetyd
Of course, tomorrow we have the 2nd T20 game between the Ama-Blomme and the New Zealand Black Caps… live right here on Rugby-Talk
101 @ grootblousmile:
No problems ou maat, was a good game to do, just was odd at end looking back and see had been talking to myself oh well at least didn’t start arguing with myself or even worse losing those arguments then you would really have cause for concern, so not quite mal yet
104 @ Bullscot:
At least you had a lot of visitors looking in… hehehe
2nd Half ON!
105 @ grootblousmile:
Ahh would have been nice if the spoke to me, but maybe that would have been too distracting so would have missed the rugby 🙂
107 @ Bullscot:
It’s good that we cover some Northern Hemisphere rugby too, adds greatly to what this site offers.
Looking at the demography of our readers, we have a strong contingent reading in the background from up North
Quins get an easy penalty.
Evans misses the absolute sitter
107 @ grootblousmile:
Yeah thats good to hear that GBS, hopefully we can continuing the expansion of the reach of the site and share news etc about the game we love so much. Its not always possible to log on and take part so at least if we are helping folk see what is going on then thats good too.
110 @ grootblousmile:
Oeps, he is normally a reliable kicker.
112 @ Bullscot:
Yip, I believe hits stats are round about 80% but for me he’s just too bloody fidgety with both hands swinging before he kicks
Right need to head away, enjoy the rest of the game GBS.
Johnston of Quins cops a Yellow
114 @ Bullscot:
Will do, thanks.
Go well… and check in tomorrow late afternoon for the T20 Cricket
Harlequins 6 / 6 Northampton Saints
Harlequins 9 / 6 Northampton Saints
