    @ Bullscot:
Glasgow are turning out quite a few good wee players

  • 152

Was that a forward pass just before the try?

  • 153

    What a kicker Dan Carter

  • 154

    Scotland 22/51 AB’s

  • 155

    135 @ Bullscot:
Don’t remember if he played 7’s he might have. Was young as well, another youth we have lost to overseas. Think at the time he was 20 or something as he was interviewed on Boots.

  • 156

And Carter is called man of the match by commentator

  • 157

    156 @ Bullscot:No surprise there!!!!

  • 158

    157 @ Puma:
Puma see my comment 140 something – think Roland Reid is the man you were thinking about

  • 159

Well done ABs but also congrats to the Scots they never gave up.

Think Boks will have a hard time beating this Scots team, especially if we play the way we done yesterday in the first half.

  • 160

    151 @ bean1:
Yes they are bean1 but not that you would think it looking at this squad there is a 9-6 split in favour of Edinburgh and if you looked at starting line up it was 7-3 to Edinburgh – strange considering how much better Glasgow have been than Edinburgh this season.

  • 161

    158 @ Bullscot:
Not sure of his name. Just know he played 8th man at the time. Very good player. Where does thsi Reid player play now?

  • 162

Well done All Blacks as usual just far too good, pity we couldn’t get another try in the end.

  • 163

Scots blow it on the final whistle. Never gave up. Well done both sides. Will be much closer next week, but Boks should take it

  • 164

155 @ Puma:more likely to be picked for the Boks if they play overseas tho! Good message to send to your young players, no?

  • 165

    typo – this

  • 166

Cheers all bit disapointed at the margin of victory by the All Blacks. But at least Scotland got 3 tries today, still lost by 29 points.

  • 167

Scotland 22/51 All Blacks. Final Score

  • 168

    161 @ Puma:
Puma if you go read the comment I’ve put a link to the article – Roland Reid has retired due to knee injury (2009) thats the only man I can think of in the era you looking at.

  • 169

    Ciao a tutti.

  • 170

Ah there is something to take from this game we only team to have scored 3 tries against ABs this year – and I can hear CALEDONIA playing at Murrayfield – BRING ON NEXT WEEKEND Happy-Grin

  • 171

Right. Cheers all, have a good evening, and catch up during the week

  • 172

    164 @ bean1:
Yip, I don’t agree with so many getting selected that are playing their rugby overseas. Should be restricted to 2 the most unless we don’t have any here in that position.

The Saffa player I am talking about actually plays for Scotland, so he can’t now play for the Boks. Just can’t think of his name.

  • 173

Well played all. Am hopeful for next week!

  • 174

NZ never needed to get out of 3rd gear, and that with a 6 speed box?

Scots didn’t play badly at all IMO and if they play like that next week the SAFFAS better bring their A game.

Best teams on display this weekend.

    1. NZ
    2. France
    3. England (against poor opposition)
    4. Argentna
    5, SA

    Not good enough “Springboks”.

  • 175

    170 @ Bullscot:
For sure the Scots have probably played the best against them. Never watched that game the ABs drew with Aus so have no idea how many tries were scored there, but the total tells me not that many.

    171 @ Just For Kicks:
    Cheers JFK

  • 176

    174 @ Scrumdown:
Does the SA side deserew to be called “Springboks”?

  • 177

    174 Scrumdown,

Looking at that log you have there tells a very true story. Sad to see our Bok rugby in the place they are in right now. Reminds me of the R. Straeuli era.

  • 178

    176 @ Scrumdown:
Saru should have got Mitchell and Carlos Spencer as our Coach. Don’t care what happened at Lions with him, he was a very good coach with Lions.

Just seen Beast could be playing on Saturday.

    This from Super Sport

    Beast heads for Edinburgh

There is a good chance that Tendai ‘Beast’ Mtawarira will play on the Springbok tour of Ireland, Scotland and England – maybe even as soon as this weekend’s clash with the Scots at Murrayfield.

The big loosehead prop was withdrawn from the team at the 11th hour ahead of the opening tour match against Ireland at Aviva Stadium in Dublin this past weekend.

Mtawarira suffered a recurrence of a heart palpitation problem and was rushed to hospital, with CJ van der Linde replacing him in the front row.

The prop underwent an extensive examination in hospital, and was released later on Saturday after being cleared of any serious complications.

There was speculation that Mtawarira might be forced to fly home early, and the medical staff were awaiting further information and reports from specialists who have treated the player in the past.

However, it looked all systems go for Mtawarira on Sunday as he joined his teammates in the departure lounge of Dublin International Airport, with the destination being Edinburgh and not London on what would have been the first stop on a flight home.

The player looked relaxed and according to a team source he is “fine” and will probably be available to play on Saturday.

Hope Beast is okay though. Health always comes first.

Even if Beast plays think we must keep H. Van der Merwe on the bench with P. Cillier. CJ was not great at all.
