@ McLook:Yeah, it’s a strange one, they just have absolutely no confidence in their own coaches – or perhaps their own coaches have no confidence in the ARU!
@ Just For Kicks:
Thanks JFK. Not all of it is off memory though. I do a lot of research before every article. Gelling all the info into a piece with a storyline is the biggest challenge.
120 @ McLook:
Don’t know… Deans is a bit like John Mitchell… don’t think he gells well with all the players.
In Afrikaans se ons hy is “bot” en ongemaklik
France penalty… kickable… and yes they will go for goal
Aussie scrum in tatters now
Parra slots the penalty
France 33 / 6 Wallabies
Farkit… a 27-point margin, against the No 2 side in the world, who drew with the All Blacks a couple of weeks ago….
On the basis of tonights matches, who would of won had Aus played the Boks, do you think? I think the Boks may have sneaked it, just. I think our scrum looked stronger thn these powder puffs
The NZ game is structured around cohesive and well structured forward play. The Ozzie. Game is all about flow and quick recycling. Fast straight running backs with super accurate passing skills sits at he heart of Ozzie rugby.
Deans I think sometimes is trying to play AB forward based rugby with a nation whose rugby DNA is league like backline play.
Seconds to go…
@ grootblousmile:
Hehehe, bot en ongemaklik. Seems to be a primary trait you need to have to get appointed as a coach.
@ McLook: reckon GBS needs to create a special page from the drop down menu for your articles. Call it the History of SA rugby or something like that. It deserves it’s own link!
Game Over
Great French victory.
Good win France. Well deserved. Michalak turned it on tonight. Amazing what vision and flair can do.
Final Score: France 33 / 6 Australian Wallabies
@ grootblousmile:
Yip, I was thinking the same thing. Northern hemisphere rugby is not so far behind anymore.
Next year Lion tour to Ozzie is going to be interesting.
132 @ Just For Kicks:
Could do it…. but not tonight…
