I am all for kicking next week .. kick some English ass ! 😉
85 @ McLook:
Yip… the kicking is not the problem.
These days, one has to make your own ball so fast, to catch the other side unawares and with their defensive lines not set, because all teams are taught to defend in certain patterns and structures… and you have to break those patterns down.
Bokke problem starts at scrumhalf, I’m telling you!
Look at WP’s Currie Cup Final win… there we had the same… they made the ball fast and blew the Sahrks away… same with the Super Rugby Final… look at what the Chiefs did there…
@ bdb:
France is fast becoming a side to be feared… watch them in the Six Nations next year!
France at the moment will give the All Blacks a hell of a go… if not beat them.
89 @ Puma:
Yip, too much instruction. Players are allowed no freedom to express themselves. Also we play one-dimensional rugby.so stuff over and over. These guy’s created space by a
alternating what they do. They respond on what the defence are doing by changing their way of attack ad have the skills to shift from kicking to running, to recycle and so forth.
11 Points in it… 40 minutes to go
What really worries me is that Argentina at the moment are playing better rugby than us.
@ grootblousmile:
2nd Half On!
92 @ grootblousmile:
Agree.
@ Pietman:
Well said Oom Pieta.
Pumas penalty… after some good play… shot at goal
France 24 / 16 Pumas
@ McLook:
They seem to have benefitted greatly from their SuperRugby 4 nations experience this year. The ‘French of the southern sphere’ they have become…
Drop by Freddy Frog… over
Good option from slow ball.
France 27 / 16 Pumas
Freddy dropped a goal. How dare he?
Daar skop Kakkerlak al weer, vervelige wen rugby, eish.
Both sides also blowing over rucks very effectively, to make the ball fast
Argentina stand a good chance of beating the Boks next year in the RC. We could well end up last…
To beat these sides, you have to slow their ball down… otherwise it will be a long night.
This match is a classic example of how to use the tactical kick to open the game up. Especially the French are really good at using the kick to dissolve the flat lying defence.
Great game to watch… very balanced rugby… wide awake rugby
Nou wonder ek, wat is Hougaard se toekoms ?
Skrummie
Vleuel
Supersub
?
112 @ The_Young_Turk:
Yip in a few years they might win the tournament if they keep on improving they way they have done this year.
Jeeez, the pitch is cutting up real bad… marshalls on to repair the wads of grass
96 @ McLook:
I agree, exactly.
116 @ bdb:
