11 @ Pietman:
That is it Piet. Freddie don’t have to consult before playing his style of play, just goes out there with freedom to play, the way it should be with a flyhalf. This total control freakish stuff with our team how they HAVE to play is crazy, it takes away the spirit of the game honest. It takes away the players instincint to play what is infront of him. How can any player play with pressure like that? If I kick it may work, if I play what is in front of me and it goes wrong I may still be dropped???? That must be what is going through a players mind. Daft and I say it again so damn daft, it creates mistakes also huge pressure. That kind of attitude does not allow for mistakes that allows players actually freedom to play, just adds to pressure and pressure adds to mistakes. Players will never play well under it. NOT even Carter. It should be said to the young players, go play what is infront of you, make mistakes that is how you learn. Don’t punish them by it by dropping them. That will take away their confidence. They LEARN by mistakes, also let them be allowed to use their HEADS to play. Allow some sort of freedom in playing. A game plan sure, but there has to be a more relaxed way for it to work, especially with youngsters. Enough said.
Michalak kicks an uppie…. damn….
@ grootblousmile:
😆 I was waiting for that hehehe, and then Michilak kicks a high one lol
damn dirty frenchman
@ The_Young_Turk:
Don’t think he can spell plan. Too be honest our problem is the backline. The backline coaching is absent.
Pumas penalty, man taken in the air catching the kicked uppie….
Another penalty to the Pumas, easy one once again
Pumas 13 / 3 France
@ Sharks_forever:
Thing is the kick actually work if the opponents think you are not going to kick.
Pumas scrummie kicks an uppie… double damn the freegin senseless coach…. oh wait it’s OK, because the coach is not Heyneke Meyer
@ Sharks_forever:
Ditto.
Even Michelak is stuck in “Lambie street” right now….but the moment his forwards gain control and start going forward he will turn it on.
Argies forwards and backs combining brilliantly, ripping the French defence to pieces, very unorthodox Puma style, but only for a while…..
Michalak kicks it high…. mmmm what’s all this kicking about, I wonder
26 @ Sharks_forever:
The whole team will have to get this crap style trained out of them. It may take a month for Plum or it may take two. Such a waste of time to knock the poop style of rugby out of their minds they learnt from the Boks…. 🙂
Honest I have read that Plum has said something similar to that. Have heard this from him: I have to re-train the guys to get that style of rugby they have been playing for the “OTHER TEAM” out of them. It always takes a month or two, Plum has said. 🙄 NO Wonder it take us a few months to gel back at the Sharks……………………
Both the Pumas and the French actually have scrumhalves making the ball freekishly fast.
Tryyyy Vincent Clerc
Great French try
Whow nice French try.
hectic pace this game is being played at, probing kicks mixed with dangerous and exciting running and passing.
Pumas 13 / 10 France
Go The French…. Team of Freddie!!!
Here we go…end of story!
Try again fron Vincent Clerc… from a stab through kick… under the sticks
And France hit back with 2 sublime tries in as many minutes.
France 17 / 13 Pumas
Another French try. From a grubber. Just to rub it in.
@ McLook:
See kicking works.
Look kicking has it’s place in the game, it’s how much kicking though, Also our players do not run into spaces, Our forwards struggle in into offload, problem is with HM style is it works when the forwards dominate, what happens when they do not???? we have seen on a few occasions now that when they dont the Boks look terrible??
Now this is where I question the coach?? Izf he cannot adapt he better beg Matfield FDP and co to all return and then try his style of play. It aint gonna work any other way
Tactical kick from Freddie. Why is everyone on HM case about kicking?
56 @ Sharks_forever:
Exactly agree 100%
Another thing i noticed tonight that when they kicked on Hougaards side of the field noone chases to regain the ball, Hougaard does not firecly go for the ball, and a kick is only as good as the chases, and this is not only Hougaard, we seem to amble along to win the ball, notice now when freddy kicked?? the french chase hard.
57@ @ McLook:
Not everyone, Smiles is in favour of more kicking.
