118 @ Sharks_forever:
Yes I think it was like that.
Did you see that CJ will probably start on Saturday? Don’t rate him at all really, but probably the right thing to do with Steenkamp coming back from a injury, let Steenkamp ease into the game on Saturday and be ready for the England game.
121 @ bdb:
Look I rate Tahir and especially in tests, he is a big player for tests, but Pieterson offers some batting as well. So there is one for the selectors to think about.
@ Puma:
I have never rated CJ
124 @ Sharks_forever:
Agree he has never been that great. Now we have him and think it probably should have been Heinke starting after such a great performance in such a short while he had on Saturday. Still think Steenkamp is one of our best with Beast at LH. Though can’t risk him straight on after a injury, Meyer doing the right think to bring him off the bench and have him ready for the England game.
In test cricket boys you select you best spinner bowler etc.
If FAF cones into the team there is a strong enough battiing lineup, select you b est striking spinner
Dean Elgar has also been called up, he is a good batsmen/ spinner
125 @ bdb:
Jislaaik bdb, my afrikaans is so vrot, so not too sure what you have said up there….. Kolfwerk, does it mean bowling? Crikey I am to dof with Afrikaans………. If I got that wrong just have a laugh as I will…….
@ bdb:
The best Keeper we have and what shocks me is noone even looks at him yet he keepsd making runs in all forms of the game is Smit from the Dolphins
What is also strange is that Smit is a leg spinner, well to concentrate on his keeping he stopped bowling
Kolf is bat @ Puma:
127 @ Sharks_forever:
I would bring in Tahir, think he will cause some headaches for the Aussie batsmen. I know he can give away plenty runs, but he always, always takes wickets and that is what test crici is about taking wickets.
@ Puma:
He is a strike bowler boet, he should play
130 @ Sharks_forever:
Jeez I am bloody useless with Afrikaans………bwaaaaaaaaaaahaaaaaaa I thought bdb was talking about bowling and thought what is he on about AB don’t bowl hahahaha…………LOL.
@ Puma:
133 @ Puma:
In that case we should all just speak English to you… and / or ignore you when you type to us in Knobbly English…
Teach you some proper Afrikaans in your old age!
Jy verstaan?
135 @ grootblousmile:
My English is fine boet it is the TYPOS! ๐
My Afrikaans is just vrot …hehehe. You never gonna make me a ‘boertjie’ I am just too English….
136 @ Puma:
Wat sรช jy? Ek verstaan nie Engels nie….. hehehe
137 @ grootblousmile:
You sound like those farmers now boeta…..
Generally all Afrikaans people can converse in English, however crooked the tenses and spelling comes accross sometimes, however the same cannot be said of English people who have lived MOST of their lives IN SOUTH AFRICA.
In fact, our country’s black people are generally far more multilingual than either the Afrikaans or English speaking white population!
@ Puma:
Das is gud ya?? ๐
Jinne, ek wonder hoe sal Oompie Puma se spelling in Afrikaans lyk, as sy Engels reeds so swak is?
Hahaha
139 @ grootblousmile:
That is because there is no reason to really speak Afrikaans………hahahaha. All business is done in English the reason you see you can and have to speak English…..
140 @ Sharks_forever:
Pooms? se vir hom in goeie Afrikaans.
Sy sussie se vissie skiet skyroackets in New York ๐
I are not praat English wery delicously.
@ Sharks_forever:
skyroackets= Skyrockets
143 @ Puma:
Neewat, meer as 80% van my kliente is Afrikaans…. en ek doen graag besigheid in Afrikaans.
Ek is lief vir my Taal.
Maak seker ‘n verskil afhangende van watter sirkels jy in rondbeweeg.
