Crowd attendances at yesterday’s semi’s was pathetic.
Too much Rugby?
I have no idea who decided to sell tickets to North stand upper while we have all the lower regions unsold, whoever runs epwos needs to get their butts kicked. The pricing system is load of bollocks why not choose the seat blocks closest to the tunnel and make that your most prestigious and then have a sliding scale system from R180 to R50. The further you sit from the center line the cheaper the seat.
I would rather have a full western stand than a chess board of spectators.
Today with technology you think the Lions would have a points system, a lot of people do not want season tickets but still go to every game. Why can’t they give a points card to computicket when they purchase their tickets in this way you can find your supporters and target them.

Having been involved with the GLRU through Club administration for a number of years, I can tell you that with them NOTHING is obvious, and if you don’t “go with the flow” you are deemed as dangerous and a threat.
Why not reduce all of the tickets to 2 x affordable prices, R100 and R 50. Seating allocation on a first come first choice basis? I can guarantee you the crowd would have been better than it was yesterday, and the ticket income probably FAR more, and the coincidental spend also FAR more.
If they don’t get it right next year they may as well play all of their games at UJ, Germiston or Roodepoort. Problem is, as always the suite holders, (If there are any left) because 3000 spectators isn’t even worth switching the lights on for.
Eish. Tough to be a Lions fan in the concrete jungle.
Nice to see my boys guts it out at the end,
Bring on those sharkies.
Im feeling like some sushi!
