117 @ Bullscot:Well, how are you. Container is being packed tomorrow, the boobalots want to get as much in as possible. SA fashion is about to hit Hadrians Wall with a vengeance!
Nou nie juis en van die beste games wat ek all gesien het nie.
Ek het net 1 suksesvolle counter ruck van die wallabies gesien en 3 turn overs van die maul tackle. Het nie 1 keer nz sien counter ruck nie.
@ madala grootblousmile:Most of the Mall shut up shop after we left!
There are fewer points separating teams 2 to 8 on the rankings than there is between ABs at number 1 and Aus at number 2, with the real bottle neck from teams 2 to 6.
Guess it was a good thing I did not have my car washed today, thunder and lightning outside
123 @ Just For Kicks:
I can just imagine the shopowner smiles…. hahaha
121 @ Just For Kicks:
Sounds good man…about the packing situation that is, you’ll be pleased so much of the hard work is done, not sure about the SA fashion and Hadrian’s wall bit though, I guess it will be many various shades of khaki hope you’ve reminded your girls to bring their winter wardrobe and not the latest SA summer fashion, although the way some of the young ones dress up around here to go out it doesn’t seem to matter to them whether its cold or not.
… and there’s the rain…
Hope our party tonight is’nt spoilt!
Durban also looks wet and wild, for the big game
So, Coca-Cola Park might also be wet for the Lions / WP match… I think it suits WP’s defensive mindset
125 @ madala grootblousmile:
Glad to hear that Gbs, had a wee peak last night to see what it would be like for the rugby and thought there could be some thunderstorms around Joburg and rain for Durban, so nice to know can occasionally get it right, just a pity for you going out though. Looks like there is still some rain about Durban and they going for pretty yucky conditions for Kings Park game time, and even with a chance of thunder at Durban international…although that last bit is your local guys ideas haven’t looked too closely for that in Durban, was just enough for me to see it could be wet there, that could give us a little bit more of a chance
Those Kiwis wanted that record. Makou’s brave decision to take the scrum is proof of that. Would a Springbok captain have called for a scrum or would we have played it safe?
Nothing constricts like the fear of failure.
I actualy started cheering for the AB after that decision after cheering for the Aussies up to that point.
ABs deserved that record. They missed it by the few meters in that last drop.
131 @ Bullscot:
Weather is murky here in the Panne, just had a very brief shower.
132 @ fender:
Hello Kitaartjie.
All Black biggest asset is their belief in themselves.
130 @ madala grootblousmile:
and #129 you must have put that up while I was typing my message with my slow fingers, see your guy (or gal) at Joburg International is even going for a chance of hail with the thunder, you better take your hard hat this evening man in case its big hail stones, you know the blue one with the horns
Weather appalling here too. internet erratic at best, doesn’t look much better in the fish tank either!
I agree GBS.
Wots with the madala stuff?
132 @ fender:
Hello fender I thought they already got the record for most consecutive wins when beat Boks in Joburg, but was that just for them to equalize the record? I suppose even if they don’t have the record for most consecutive wins then at least they must have the record for most consecutive games unbeaten?
135 @ Bullscot:
Don’t have a hat with horns, so will have to wear my Doybie and Staaldak…. hahaha
137 @ fender:
Have my 30-year Matric Reunion later today…. so I consider myself formally old now…. hahaha
Right all time to go out and take dog for a walk then back to bed to try get more sleep, worked last night and am back again tonight, so if am not up in time for the semi-finals GO BLUE BULLS!!! Thats for all 3 of our Blue Bull teams in action in the semi-finals. Enjoy the rugby all hope even if the games are not spectacles of good running and handling rugby because of the conditions that they are exciting to watch.
141 @ Bullscot:
Cheers Bully… goooi mieliessss
139 @ madala grootblousmile:
What..no can’t believe you don’t, oh well then the Doybie and Staaldak will have to do then, have a blast ou pel
Cheers Bully
Bullscot, my understanding is that they would’ve equalled Mallet’s Boks record if the had won today. I actualy don’t know who holds the longest unbeaten record….mmm, anybody know?
Ja Madala, that sounds about right. Mine was in 2006, heh!
145 @ fender:
Romania, 18 wins, unbeaten, set some time ago
GBS I see Puma went for a piss on the half-way line at Kings Park again: the pitch is waterlogged again.
Doesn’t take much does it?
What about a nice WP/Bulls final at Newlands like the old day before our 30th reunions?
145 @ fender:
Eish, you really are over the hill… hahaha
147 @ fender:
Sounds good to me…. the North / South battle… biggest battle in SA
Romania!
Damn, great question to win a fridge in a rugby quiz….
