    @ The_Young_Turk:
He is still young and inexperienced. Most of us felt that Bambie should have started at flyhalf, but he should much more potential than Morne.

297 @ The_Young_Turk:There’s only one wing on everyone lips at the moment, and thats Raymond Rhule. Bring him in. Hell, the boy has it.

Deans uses the word carnage in terms of injuries

    @ Just For Kicks:
Do you want Ostrich to get a farkin coronary! Rhule has to go thru many hoops before he gets to the top of Meyer’s list. It’s Jpp, Hougie, Bjorn, and what about JJ Englebrecht. Maybe he’ll bring him back.

    @ Just For Kicks:
Carnage is accurate in this case. I’ve never seen a test where a team was reduced to 14 men because they ran out of substitutes.

@ The_Young_Turk:JPP and Bjorn injured, Hougie is NOT the best wing in the country. He must either play scrummie, or warm the bench as an impact player. JJ has had his chance. He is clearly not good enough yet, Currie Cup hasn’t shown him doing much better either. Rhule is simply ruling the CC at the moment.

    @ Just For Kicks:
That was Meyer’s list, not mine. I’d give Mvovo another shot.

Well done Bokke. Much better, though we have to take into account this was a very poor Wallabie side and they were falling off one after the other with injuries. The biggie is next week against ABs. There we will know how far we have come.

Just a huge pity that JPP was not ready for this game and more so against the ABs. If Fransie is back next week play Taute on the wing. Think he would be better than Hougie.

What a different display by the Boks. It is amazing to see what an impact Goosen made, no aimless kicking. He attacked, distributed and defended well. I agree with GBS, Koen is not the right kicking coach. Bring back BRAAM!
Strauss, Etzebeth, the 3 loosies, Pienaar, Taute, Habs, Hoohah and Sideshow were good value.
    Bekker………..well he was ok.
Did you see how good JDV looked with a decent flyhalf to give him decent ball?

Lambie was terrible. He lacks heart, did you see how he just didn’t even try to defend when the Wallabies scored?

Scrums were dodgey. Neither props did much, it may be a bit of fatigue.

Well done to the Boks, and thank you HM for taking your head out of your arse.

Finally, f@ck you JDV and Habana for saying in the interview’s that nothing has changed in the game plan from the start of HM’s tenure to this game! Get your head’s out of your arses and be man enough to admit that almost EVERYTHING has changed!

Did you notice where I praised Sideshow Bob?

  • 314

Did you see Sideshow’s reaction to Lambie’s non tackling display when the Wallabies scored?

After the game yesterday I sat on the pavement outside a bar in CT and cried like a little girl (to the point that my fiance called me a bitch!) That was SO awesome. The skill, the accuracy, the intensity – everything was what everyone wants to see and has been asking for! Why couldn’t we be doing that for the last few weeks? Hell – why couldn’t we be doing that for the last few years? (Ok – I know the answer to those questions). The depth, talent and age of players currently makes me firmly believe that the Boks can be THE force in world rugby for the next 10 years or so. I know there were still a few issues (there always will be) but I am so proud today.
Sorry for the long-windedness of this, but I had to get it out.
