If the Bokke had converted their penalties and conversions, this would have been a massive rout, massive score.

Game over.
Bokke win!
Game over. Boks win.
Springboks 31/8 Australia. Final Score
Lovely stuff…. still our kicking to goal MUST improve, and radically so
So, was the Goosen experiment at the expense of Morne a success guys?
@ grootblousmile:
The last 20 mins or so were not good. Protect the farkin ball on the ground dammit!
@ fender:
No question.
@ fender:
Howya doin ole toppie?
@ fender:
Daai is mos n rethorical question
good to see such a big scoreline congrats Boks!
274 @ fender:
Undoubtably so!
Now he needs to work on his kicking to posts again….
Question is, is Louis Koen the right kicking coach at the Bokke, seems that ALL are struggling at posts
Jean doesn’t lie very well does he?
Yup, some great aspects to the Bok game, but some frustrations too. Habs, Flo, Bekker, Taute had great games, there were flashes of brilliance from the whole side. 4 of the 5 tries were brilliant, and the other good. Some wonderful vision, thinking, offloads and running into space. Some good tactical kicks as well, but more poor kicks too. Some great running rugby, and good meters gained, especially at pivot. Loosies as a whole, brilliant. Lineout work awesome too.
On the other side of the coin, our ball retention in the ruck was appalling, every now and then we fell back to the crash, bash and mash style rugby, and we got nowhere there. Some kicking was woeful, especially from Pienaar. Our ball handling let us down a bit, and when we got 4 tries, we went back into defensive mode. Still a major problem in the front row, can’t put my finger on it, but Beast and Jannie definitely taken a step backwards this season
But all in all a step up, and great to see players coming back to form, and the youngsters – every one of them, coming through.
And Jean, don’t stand up there and say the game plan hasn’t changed, BOLLOCKS. You can’t pull the wool over our eyes.
Guys, please all join me tonight after midnight for the Live Game between the Pumas vs All Blacks!
No farking excuses!
283 @ grootblousmile:I’ll try, but my alarm clock look likes it may be on strike!
Any changes for next week, guys?
@ grootblousmile:
I for one will be there. What are we eating?
No serious injuries on the Bokke side….
The Wallabies will be reeling with injuries, and have a tough time ahead of them in Argentina
284 @ Just For Kicks:
Kick her!
Hehehe
@ grootblousmile:If my insomnia is on form, I may well join you!
286 @ The_Young_Turk:
I’ll be having some Handbriekie before that game…. hehehe
288 @ grootblousmile:GBS!
289 @ bean1:
Go down 2 Red Bulls NOW….. hehehe
285 @ grootblousmile:Would love to see a different scrum half, thats all. Perhaps Lambie for Kirchener, not because Crusty had a bad game, just to give Lambie a start, and bring on Crusty later .
Did Ashwin just say “quick ball from the ruck” – is that not what we’ve been shouting for all season?
@ grootblousmile:We have to work on that front row too. There is a problem there.
293 @ Just For Kicks:
Heyneke won’t change Ruan… Ruan had to do a lot of the kicking tonight…. to touch and to posts.
I agree to let Lambie start at 15, and reverse the rolls by letting Crusty sit on the bench. Must say, Crusty was good and penetrative tonight.
Wallabies are all crocked, farked, moertoe.
I would like to see Hougie back at scrumhalf. Who to play at wing tho? Pity JPP is still injured. Crusty doesn’t deserve to be dropped on today’s performance but still think Bambie would be better. Would leave the forwards as is, but swop marcel for Alberts if he is not 100%. He had a quiet game. JdV is a 12, not a 13. Taute was ok. JdJ may be better tho. I feel Goose will be more confident next week and his kicking may improve. However if we are scoring tries, kicking is not as important.
OK folks…. let me shut down here, it was massively frustrating with absolutely kak 3G here tonight.
Will wait for the Pressers, get some complete Audio of it…. and put it on R-T tomorrow.
Remember, see you after pumpkin time for the Pumas / All Blacks
Look, I’ll rather have Goosen at fly-half than Morne, but if I had to rate his all round play, based on his iffy decisionmaking at times and his wayward kicking I’d give him a 5.
Did he have a hand in any of our tries?
But ok, a great talent although certainly not the saviour of Bok rugby that he was made out to be in some quarters.
If Bambie starts, he is also a kicking option. Would give the kicking back to Goose tho and do the same as this week. If he misses an easy kick, then change the kicker.
