Mmmm, England 10 / 0 after 2 overs…. starting at a good clip… oh damn and a 4 from the first ball of the 3rd over….
England 14 / 0 after 2.1 overs
Wicketttttttttttt!
Bell out!
Review……

Go Bell… jou klokke het gelui!
England 23 / 1 after 4 overs
Wickettttt

Bopara gevang vir ‘n mamparra!
England 24 / 2 after 4.3 overs
England 48 / 2 after 11 overs
Cook and Bairstow doing well now
Just walked in to see England 111/5. Brilliant, Proteas. But, and there is always a but – Plonker Parnell is bowling. I don’t know why they continue with him, he’s simply too much of a liability.
….and there goes Patel for 9. Bowled Steyn, caught AB. Eng 124/6
England 135 / 6 after 34 overs
England going at exactly 4 runs per over…
England have called for the batting power play after 35 overs
England should or could get around 230….
150 up for England… in the 37th over
If the Blomme can take another wicket or 2, it will restrict England’s run-rate quite dramatically all the way to 50 overs (if they bat that far)
Would be good if they could get another 2 or 3 quick one, but somehow, they just look a bit lacklustre in this game. It has been a long tour (not over yet), and the boys look tired. As I say that, another wicket, Kieswetter gone for 33, caught Alma, bowled Morkel. 156/7
I really think Philander would be a better option to Parnell. It would also balance the attack a bit – a “pollock” type bowler who could dry up the runs from one end, whilst still taking wickets, and someone who is more than handy with the bat.
I am sure we’ll see him in the side sooner rather than later
Both Morne Morkel and Parnell not up to scratch in the last 3 games….
OK, Morkel has taken 2 wickets today, but look at his economy rate….
Philander should be there, as you say, Kickers!
Come on boys, take another wicket… then they’ll have to bat more carefully in the last 8 overs….
Robbie Peterson bowls Tredwell for 6. Eng 175/8
Bowled… Wickettttt Tredwell, did not tred so well after all!
England 175 / 8 after 43.2 overs
Jimmy Anderson also gone!
England 175 / 9
Heeeeeeeee haaaaaaaaaaaaa
….and Anderson goes, daft slash sends the ball straight up and into Morkels paws. Peterson now on a hat trick. Eng 175/9
Come on, take the last wicket!
England bowled out for 182 after 45.2 overs!
SA need 183 for a win.
Good stuff. Well done Proteas, now lets have a better batting performance than in the last 2 matches please. Pitch looks very tame, so no excuses!
Now this is why I like batting second, chasing a total….
… and to think AB won the toss in both previous games… and bloody chose to bat first… that was dumb!
Good 1st over by SA
SA 8 / 0 after 1 over…. 8 runs
O kak… Biff out for 1
SA 8 / 1 after 1.4 overs
Faf off the mark, with 3 runs…. watch your wicket now Faf!
Eishhh, daar val Faf du Plessis op 3 runs…
SA 11 / 2 after only 2.3 overs
Hell… this is not good
