Watching this game gives me hope for our Boks against either of these teams.

  • 62

Another All Blacks penalty, this one just a pop-over

  • 63

Aussie professional spoiling there, spot on, only give away 3 points

Love your guys confidence. Would want you both to be proven right and would be relieved to eat humble pie, but I have heard so many times how Bok supporters say how crap the Wobblies are and how easy the Boks will beat them, but you guys don’t realise that the record is totally different. We are so focused on beating the Blacks that we always ignore the Ozzies.

    All Blacks 9 / 0 Wallabies

Aussies only lose 6 points for the yellow, they can see that as a positive

I’m not saying the Bokke WILL beat them, I’m saying they SHOULD beat them.

Truly, I have not seen the Wobblies this bad…. ever!

Let’s face it, they did not threaten ONCE in the whole first half!

  • 70

If the Wobblies can keep the Blacks from scoring 4 tries, it will be good for the Boks.

  • 71

64 @ Gobble_BokJan:Records are made to be broken, and a half full glass means you’ve always got something to toast the record breakers with.

I better get my new TV Card installed quickly in my Main PC, have had to rely solely on the Big screen… and the neck has had to do a lot of work in the process…

Good point and I agree. We are normally so focused on beating the Blacks that we forget about the Wallabies that normally beat us. We need to stay focused on one game at a time.

From what I have seen here today, even with our kick and crash ball game plan, we could beat both these teams. Well if we had played them today that is. They both will get better as this tourney goes. So will we (I HOPE) .. LOL.

    @ grootblouBokJan:
I have seen many matches where the Boks threaten the line multiple times and fail to score whilst their opponents just get the one chance and make it count. You get no points for threatening the line.

    More almal.

If Wallabies keep the Blacks from getting a bonus point and we get a bonus point tonight. Well, well we are right back in it. It was that bonus point we never got last week that has put us on the back foot, because Abs I feel.,will pick up a bonus point home and away from Arg. We have to beat Wallabies in Perth as the Blacks beat them in Sydney. So there is no question there, if we lose there we have no chance of winning this RC. For now if ABs don’t pick up the bonus point, it is all to play for, for our Bokke. If we don’t pick up the bonus point tonight then we will have to win all our games to win this tourney. That will be just to tough I think.

I’m not trying to be a downer here. I just fear the utterly dismissive attitude here towards the Wobblies. It is this attitude, I believe, that leads us to underperform against the Ozzies. Please take them seriously and treat them with respect and farkin BEAT them ON the field for a change.

  • 79

    All Blacks 12 / 0 Wallabies

Why sub a player 2 min into the second half, unless there is an injury? Is there some sort of law that states all players leaving the field at the half time whistle must start the second half, or something like that? I don’t know of any such law

  • 81

    74 @ Gobble_BokJan:
True, one does not get points from only threatening to score…. but then again one surely does not get points if you NEVER threaten to score in 40 minutes either….

When you threaten, you are creating chances to score, when one does not threaten, no chances… zip, zero, zilch!

    Try Israel Dagg!

  • 82

    All Blacks 19 / 0 Wallabies

    Wallabies lucky to have 0

  • 83

Nice try by the Blacks there. Now they could open it up.

Damn last week there we were for so long at the end on the ARG line and just could not get through to score, they also were just taking our ball from us at the breakdowns. We need to protect our ball better at the breakdowns today. Hoping we can.

  • 84

Abs will open this up now. They just may get the bonus point. They can play with more freedom now with such a big margin ahead.

  • 85

Penalty All Blacks again… and another easy chance for the All Blacks

  • 86

    78 @ Gobble_BokJan:
Agree with you. Hope we can beat them.

  • 87

    All Blacks 22 / 0 Wallabies

  • 88

78 @ Gobble_BokJan:Absolutely no dismissive attitude towards the Wobblies, and certainly no lack of respect, but you cannot say that this side, on their current form is not a shadow on the previous Wobbly teams. For this reason you MUST believe you can beat them – and that doesn’t mean you have to disrespect them in doing so. Having said that, of course there is a chance we could lose, and if we spent our lives thinking like that, we would hardly enjoy this hobby.

My mantra is simply, always believe your team can and will win. When they do, celebrate, when they don’t, mourn for a day, then pick yourself up, and start believing again.

Should have gone for the posts, get some points on the board
