In breaking news, it has been reported that Clyde Rathbone is in training with his U21 mentor, Jake White, at the Brumbies.
Rathbone, who Captained South Africa Under 21, and was capped 26 times for Australia and 72 times for the Brumbies, retired from rugby in 2009 due to numerous injuries and after suffering from depression.
The Brumbies have confirmed that Rathbone is training with them in a hope to secure a contract for 2013.
He is an excellent player, pity that he is also a d00s.
31 years old, He will turn 32 during the Super Rugby comp.
That is a little on the mature side, but good luck to him, he went through quite a bit, I hope this works out for him.
Won’t it put the Cherry at the top if he goes and play for the Kings?
@ 7andaBokJan:
Ja he can play alongside DeWet Barry and Marius Joubert.
@ BobbejanklimdiebergStormersboySpringbokJan:
haha would be a laugh if Rathbone and Watson plays together. Everyone hates them already adding Rathbone would make them public enemy no 1
Not surprised, being jake the snakes love child and all!

@ Scrumdown::D
Looking at your Golden Oldies backline reccommended for the Southern Kings… it will still be way better than what they have currently… apart from your choice of Marius Joubert of course.
