Ja, was goeie rugby!
Nou vir die Bokke!
Congrats Bulls, good win, best team lon the day won, just glad our youngsters got that bonus point
No team unbeaten yet…
Well done Bulls, well deserved win.
Cat really amongst the pigeons on the Currie Cup Log
@ MaakieSharksAlmalBokkeseJan:
Congrats Bulls.
Well played Sharkies, both teams loaded with talent on the bench.
De Klerk is a great loss to the Bulls, Fouche looks better with Paige as scrummie. Beyers must start at center with JJ Sadie on the bench. CJ and Arno a great combo .
@ grootblouBokJan:
Congrats Rudi
Must say i am not to unhappy, with 18 players out and playing at Loftus, i thought the kids on both sides did great, even the young Hooker we have who is the Sharks 5th choice played quite well, besides of course 4 lost lineouts, but her he has been thrown into the deep end/
Anyhows enjoy mate, and now the BOks
I was worried about this game for the Blue Bulls… luckily we pulled it through
@ Piet-Springbok-Jan:
YA Piet, as i said to Rudi we have 18 players out, and i thought our youngsters did great, so to the BUlls , maan we have good talent coming through between these 2 sides

Thanks Ty…. could have gone either way, always a great contest between the 2 sides
@ grootblouBokJan:
Agreed bro and what a nice match of rugga
Fouche of CJ die MOM ?
I have a question for GBS or any other of the writers. What was the attendance at Loftus last night? From the TV pictures it looked about 25% full, or if you prefer, 75% empty. This for a clash between the Sharks and the Bulls. The same game in Super 15 would have been almost a full house, so what is happening? Have we had too much rugby, has the Super 15 made the fans think CC is a second rate competition or what? I would really like to hear opinions.
@ Baaiekatte-Jan:
Just over 11000 at Coca Cola Park, and I would guess about the same at Loftus. Maybe a few thousand more.
So what is a full house, about 40,000 or so? Lets be generous and call it roughly 70% empty. Even Newlands down here is nowhere near full for CC matches, yet all the big stadiums are near full house for Super 15, so back to my question, any theories on why this apparent lack of interest in CC matches?
@ Baaiekatte-Jan:Interesting question – going to put my thoughts into an article
